So steer the cart with the idiot Obama pulling it. Let Romney retire and wash his holy underwear.

I refuse to vote for Romney in the primary and general elections, also. On November 6, 2012, I will proudly enter the voting booth and cast my ballot only for conservative local, state, and House/Senate candidates. I will not sacrifice my principles to Romney by voting for him. I believe this obamanable RINO will do everything he can to destroy the Tea Party if he is elected President.

So, that is that. We’re now “hostages”.

The RNC elites are now saying to us:

Either vote for Romney or we’ll unleash Obama on you (who won’t fear another reelection and wants a “legacy”).

If Romney is POTUS, it will be “Obama-lite” and an all-out war on the Tea Party.

your shouting that in a closet. get out on other forums and shout it loud, shout it often and maybe it will help.

Here's the way I do it:

- I get the bulk of my information from the web and FR.
- FR is where you see the stream of ideas hotly debated. BS gets outed. The cream rises to the top.
- I argue on FR. Cut my teeth here. Make sure my arguments are valid. (If I'm way screwed up, other FReepers will be quick to straighten me out. Have admitted that I've been wrong many times. Thankfully FReepers stopped me before I ran of on a stupid tear.)
- I put the arguement out on as many websites as I can.
- The I sit down with my kids and get my mom, aunts, and friends on the phone. I give them the information. I point them to the right websites for valid information.
- My little group goes out and educates their friends and family. My daughter organizes protests and gets people information on where and when to vote. My mother will have a carload ready on election day.

And that is how grassroots works. :)

I am not a Romney fan either, I know he is the most liberal candidate running for the GOP nomination. To tell you the truth none of the candidates have shown me much. Jim Demint would be my ideal candidate but he is not running.

You think this country can survive four more years of Obama, just look what he has done in three short years. If he wins a second term you will really see the true Obama agenda as he will have no reason to seem reasonable! Lord help us if he wins again!

Ron Paul would be interesting. every thing would be vetoed. It would be the least expensive administration in 100 years. I could vote for Ron Paul. He would be far better that either Obama or Romney. I could even get in, vote for Rick Perry and get out before the stench overwhelmed me but Romney is out of the question.

I agree. There is nearly zero difference between how Romney would govern and how BHO would govern so why bother.

The first mistake was even listening to the MSM, with them telling us who they want to be the GOP nominee.

The second mistake is the GOP country club all but announcing that they’ll back mittens, and throw anyone else to the wolves.

The third mistake is the RNC/DNC underestimating the oncoming onslaught of backlash and retaliation from the TEA party, conservatives, the middle of the road types, and the people who are completely fed up with the status quo of Washington running this country into the ground.

The last mistake was the GOP trying to ram the used car salesman, and captain hairspray down our throats, and telling us we have to like it, or else.

My daughter told me that she has five friends who come to her at election time and ask, “So, who are we voting for?”

She tells them who and why and why the other guy sucks and they go vote with her.

We’re quickly becoming a resource for people who’re too busy/lazy to do the research for themselves.

A purist is someone who won't accept a candidate who agrees with them 80% of the time.

Someone who votes for a candidate who agrees with them 20% of the time is not a purist. That person is an idiot.

Newt needs to earn his conservative credentials first

Think Newt is as good a 'student' as he is a teacher. Most importantly; he recognizes that as critical an issue as it is; it is not 'just the 'economy' that threatens to cancel America's future.

Amen. Will not vote for Romney if he gets the nomination. GOP can have fun losing if they want to push Romney.

Ditto. ENOUGH!
