But truth is this is the time to advocate conservative candidates.Why not.

Even if ultimately get a candidate who is not a conservative I say we still advocate that the Republican Party is now a Conservative party.

Let the rinos try and get the candidates elected that a Sarah Palin will.Won't happen and they know it.

Without us there is no Republican Party. We have to continue to light fires under their butts until two or three cycles from now we have only conservative candidates to pick from. That day will come. Just might not be right away. Good things sometimes take time.

That's why the Tea Party Pats are so important. With them in Congress we have a future for the country. Without them; not so much.

Completely agree. Without enough Reps that are going to FIGHT for a certain piece of legislation, plan A gets introduced and then through the process of "compromise", we get plan A Lite, which is usually a disaster.

Yesterday a friend invited hubby and me (and my oldest daughter, too) to a private reception and a dinner on the 29th for Herman Cain. Hubby and daughter can’t make it as they’ll be working a concession stand at the Ole Miss game.

But I can make it! It is being held at a nice hotel and the tickets are a bit pricey (at least to me). I said that because I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO WEAR. HELP!

Because Cain can’t defend 9-9-9 in a coherent way. He couldn’t explain how it’s not a value added tax. He’s been so vague about the details I’m not sure he completely understands it. I thought his vagueness was a strategy he was saving for an 0bama debate but now it’s unclear if it’s even actuarially plausible. At least to me it isn’t.

I think HE understands it, but he definitely had a hard time explaining it to people who simply did not want to understand it. Everyone keeps looking at this 9% sales tax in a static sense instead of looking at the other taxes that get reduced, others that get removed and the lower tax rates overall that are applied to a larger tax base.

In interviews, he does a much better job explaining how 9-9-9 is not a VAT.

What is the difference between that and current embedded business taxes?

Exactly and equally as important is down the road not having to fight rinos as well as dems to get key legislation passed.
We need an unending war on Rinos until the last one is gone.
