Cain is starting to remind me of Pontius Pilate.
He states that he is for or against something, and then turs around and washes his hands of it because he’s trying to make everyone believe that his personal opinion doesn’t matter. Eventually people are going to demand that he stand by his principles and not come across as believing one thing, while doing the exact opposite as president.

What about the vaunted 10th Amendment?
Education is a state issue. Period.Do you really fail to comprehend the concept that it ceases to be a state issue when a man who advocates for such a thing seeks national office?
There is a federal law prohibiting giving instate tuition to ILLEGAL aliens. La Raza Rick and the Texas legislature discovered a way of circumventing that law by making the requirement 3-years of high school as opposed to residing within the state. Americans don't like that. I know because I am one.
The 77th Texas Legislature passed that bill with a veto-proof majority. It would not have mattered if Perry choose not to sign it. That he did merely illustrates that he did not have national office in mind at the time.
I've said this before but I guess you didn't read it. It doesn't matter that it was a veto-proof majority; Perry signed it BECAUSE HE SUPPORTED IT THEN AND HE SUPPORTS IT STILL. It's not the fact that the Texas legislature approved it with a veto proof majority that bothers Americans. What bothers them is Perry advocated for it then and does to this day.
BTW, many other states beside Texas have the same residency language.
A fact that has absolutely ZERO bearing on this debate. But for the record, if any govrnor had signed a similar bill (mine did, and he is a liberal jackass) that man would NOT deserve or get the support of the very same people who do not support Perry.

NoMoreCareerPoliticians Since you're a new member (home page no created, Since Oct 15,2011), just off your pen name, I'd say Cain is your man.
I have a few questions?
Bachmann Very conservative, and my first choice, since Palin isn't running.
Cain Very Conservative, very confident, a man I've personally had about an hour conversation with in 2004, and a man I trust. He's my second choice
GingrichThe smartest man on the ticket, and very conservative, but I'm not sure I trust, however, I'd vote for him, my third choice.
Huntsman Not worth my time, an "Establishment Republican" that's just too liberal. He won't ever get my vote.
Ron Paul Wants to legalize drugs, and isn't worth my time, I'd never vote for him.
Perry He's done, and he'll lie to you in a heartbeat. He's an "Establishment Republican" pretending to be conservative, and He'll NEVER get my vote.
Romney He's a real RINO, a real liberal, and he's the "Establishment's Favorite". He'll NEVER get my vote.
Santorum He's too inexperienced, but he's conservative. As a last resort, I MIGHT vote for him, but I'm not sure.

This is an old cartoon, so don't forget the "Pro-Communist Health Care" and "Anti-Communist Health Care" podiums:

No. It was a random encounter at Lake Charles Terminal Radar Approach Control.
Herman Cain flew into the airport in a radial engine Bi-Wing aircraft, and he parked it between the control tower and the general aviation operations building.
He asked for a tour of the tower and radar facility before he shut the engine down, so we (FAA) authorized it and opened up the break-room door about 50 feet from where he was parked.
He used our facilities to change clothes, get a rental car, and while he waited for it to arrive, he toured the radar room and the control tower.
He asked many good questions about our operation and we talked about many things.
He spoke of being diagnosed with cancer and how his family really helped him, as he prepared to fight it.
He talked of prayer and how that had given him strength and motivation.
He was with us for about 30 minutes before he left in the rental car to do a surprise inspection of Burger King.
He returned about 3 hours later, spent another thirty minutes with us while the aircraft was being prepped.
There was only about 5 of us on duty during his visit, and we all had ample opportunity to talk about whatever we wished.
He really is a pleasant and bold man, very easy to talk to.
He's a highly skilled private pilot, also.

"I like Cain also but he needs some good advice."
I have NO DOUBT that Herman Cain is comfortable and skilled at choosing executive officers and delegating responsibility,
as well as controlling board meetings, and taking advise since he's overseen the turnaround of several corporations.

I’ll just say your post sucks, a waste of time to read your “thoughts”. I can’t imagine why anyone would care about your analysis, I know I don’t care for meaningless tripe.

Thanks for the info.
Its nice to get meaningful conversation about a topic.
My topic was to get help with opinions about the candidates.
I have never voted for a single Democrat in my life.
bfree - just seems to be a nasty person.

Policies pasted on a candidate’s website don’t impress me much. They will be changed as soon as the primary is over.
Have we really forgotten how soon Obama changed his websites?
