The only part of this that’s surprising is the timing. I’d have thought the Left would’ve waiting until closer to the primaries to let fly with this crap.

You are right, Bigbob! When someone says “sexual harassment” we usually think of a situation where the boss says, “Have sex with me or I’ll fire you”. However, the guidelines are so blurred now... there isn’t a guy on FR who isn’t guilty of it. Let me explain: my husband and his co-workers attended a sexual harassment workshop (deemed required by the state). Did you know that commenting on someone’s new hairstyle or outfit is considered off limits. A few weeks after the workshop, a gal he works with comes to work. She is sporting a new hairstyle. Well, after several hours.. she gets miffed. “Doesn’t anyone have anything to say about my new hairstyle?!” My husband says, “I would like to comment but I wouldn’t want to say anything that could be perceived as evaluating you on an appearance rather than work performance”. The whole room laughed since every male in there was thinking the same thing.

Exactly. If the company felt the claims were real at the time, he would have been dismissed. Instead the women were paid-off and they left.
It is interesting if they will or how the press came by this information, as it appears there was “The agreements also included language that bars the women from talking about their departures.”
Usually this applies to both parties and if the NRA or the women tipped off anyone...there could be other charges of slander now.

Of course, real sexual harrassment happens. But so do false allegations of sexual harrassment. I'm definitely going to have to get some real proof before I buy into this story.
In the 1990’s it was all the rage to claim “sexual harassment”....unless of course Bill Clinton was the harasser.
I’m surprised they even think this is relevant. If it happened at all it was extremely isolated and a very long time ago.
I find that if someone is a harasser, it’s pretty much an ongoing thing. He’s worked with and supervised 1000’s of people, including the people he was frying French fries with at BK. No other allegations?
Sounds like he had the misfortune to run into a couple of the “perpetually aggrieved” with dollar signs in their eyes. No more, no less. He still has my support.
