Here's my theory on this "sexual harassment scandal":

Maybe Cain leaked this information himself. That way, he would appeal to more Democrat voters.

Do you think that we will hear publicl from the two women?

Nope. This sounds like someone inside the NRA knew about it, but did not know the outcome.

That is why the innuendo of a 'settlement' was alleged because whomever it was did not know the investigation turned out to find the charges false.

What a load of skeletons:

Herman Cain didn’t pay his taxes! Turns out he was fighting cancer and it was a paperwork error.

Herman Cain committed sexual harassment! Turns out these were nusiance lawsuits that were cheaper to payoff than to fight in court.

If there are the biggest skeletons in Cain’s past, then he’s looking pretty good. The tax story is already long forgotten, and this one will be too in a few weeks.

But then they’ll just come out with another “skeleton” that will be forgotten in a few weeks.

That’s how smear campaigns work. They don’t need to hit you with anything true. They just need to keep hitting you with one thing after another.

It is possible that said settlement was nothing more that a small severance package paid by NRA's human resources after Cain had established that the charges were unfounded (the women obviously had to leave once they had accused the boss).

It would not be unusual, considering the situation, that such severance pay, however small in amount, might have been conditioned upon a "hold harmless" and "gag" agreement just to protect the NRA from future action and damaging, if unfounded, gossip.

IMHO, if this smear is coming from the Dimocrats, they have absolutley no credibility after the way they defended Clinton, or said nothing about the way he carried on with women.

You have that correct. This is simply Palincainia 101. The same Palin supporters transferred candidate names, but the nasty behavior has not changed.

Put your hysteric Romney worship on hold and go take a look around.

Got just about 100% support for Cain around here this morning. EVERYONE is rallying to him. They might not vote for him but they know a slime job when they see one. It is disgusting to them. Reminds them just why they loath the political establishment of both parties.

These sleazy tactics are biting your boy Romney right on the butt Marty. Better wake up and really soon.

Must as well crown Cain the #1 candidate for the GOP nomination after this - the smear dogs do not go after also-rans this way. It will be interesting to see what NRO makes of this. I think they are in the blue-bloods pockets and it will interesting to see if they treat this all seriously or for the crap it is.

Hope Herman didn't tell Jenna she looked fine this morning or invite her to join him on the Cain Train.....that might just add another sexual harassment claim to his resume.

I am really sick and tired of all this PC crap we have in this Country.

Men can't even be gentlemen any longer without some women thinking they are being harassed.

Mental illness affects the lives of millions of unsuspecting victims.

Most companies have directors liability, E&O coverage..and the insurance company can mandate that the claim be settled..to make it go away..because it’s cheaper..
