Associated Press ^ | Nov. 2, 2011 | JACK GILLUM and STEPHEN OHLEMACHER

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A third woman considered filing a workplace complaint against Herman Cain over what she deemed aggressive and unwanted behavior when she and Cain, now a Republican presidential candidate, worked together during the late 1990s, the woman told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

She said the behavior included a private invitation to his corporate apartment.

"Third worker says Cain harassed her"

And if that doen't work there will be a 4th, then a 5th if needed, and a 6th, and so on and so on.

Remember Arnold? A redux.

I wish you were right but the left will NOT let this die. They will point out how Conservatives went after Clinton and try to cast Cain in the same light. The source that leaked the story to Politico needs to be revealed so we can see who was behind it. It looks like I’m going to have to hold my nose to vote again next year. The way Cain is handling this situation is defeating him.

“All Cain had to do was say he likes the ladies.

It is his handling of the matter that is hurting him.
He is changing his story and making accusations without proof.”
___________________________________________

“Hurting him”? Care to tell us how this is hurting him? He’s taken in record internet donations to his campaign, his still up in almost all the polls, he’s told everything he knows on this sealed matter.

Why are some of you folks so quick to drink the media kool-aid? How many slime jobs do the Leftists have to do on conservatives before you start getting. Listening to some of you folks, I’d swear you just got done listening to Brian Williams or Chris Matthews.

People see this for what it is: “Clarence Thomas Part II.” First the media tried to make of this unlitigated matter, but with his support unwavering, they’re reduced to now say he hurt himself with how he’s handled it. Pahlease!

Dude, please quit drinking the MSM kool-aid.

“The woman said she did not file a formal complaint against Cain...”

So why the hell should I believer her now? How do I know ANY of this happened?

The tactic is pretty OBVIOUS now...liberals from Cain’s past will simply attack him on sexual harassment charges - regardless if true...which they are likely not because NO EVIDENCE exists to corroborate their stories.

It is up to the media to filter out these bimbos, but they will not...so Cain has to deal with it.

...but fortunately, Cain’s only audience right now is the Tea Party, and they are sick to death of this crap. Once the primaries are over, don’t be surprised if Cain starts joking out all of this...it’s probably the best way to deal with it.

And the unnamed source is report to have said that the conversation occurred in front of a number of unnamed others. Now, think about that for a minute? If you were to invite someone up to your corporate/hotel room, would you want the whole world to know about it?

BHD!(BIG HAIRY DEAL). If there was no arrest and no jail time involved for assault or rape, I don't care. As long as he did not fire or threaten to fire someone unless sexual favors were performed, I don't care.

I am sick of this crap the media does. They made excuses for Clinton, and go ballistic over the slightest little thing that a Republican does, hoping the evangelicals will throw a potential threat to the Dems under the bus.

Well after years of this crapola, I DON'T CARE what they dig up as long as it was not violent, criminal assault or fraudulent. PERIOD - END OF STORY.

I’ll bet that all those who have complained are liberal leftists. Conservative women don’t seem to be so paranoid as the leftist and can take a little joking and jousting. And hey they are a damn sight better looking than the lefist whiners. Think Sarah Palin, and Michele Bachmann. Then think Nancy Pelosi, and you Helen Thomas. See what I mean?

All anyone has to do is look at your posting history to see who’s team your really play for Perrybot

The telling factor is his frequent posting. He's on the job right now, and trying to earn a living.

Cainis not a dc political type. He's used to business situations where he can be open and usually in command. This is an entirely new venue for him.

Politico is far left wing and only interested in taking Cain down. If zero had to run against another black man with a business history he knows he's done.

...the left will NOT let this die.

This is only important if there is something there.

On this we can perhaps agree: unless the Hermster is a fool, he had to know there was a chance these allegations would come to light. So, assuming he is not a fool, he went forward knowing he was in the right.

If this is the case, what should our position be - to write him off? Stick a fork in him?

If he is the man he appears to be, he will weather this storm and we'll all be the better off.

Unless you think he is a fool - or an egomaniac (for thinking he could get away with it...).

I agree. While I will say, overall, this doesn’t look good for Cain, there has to be some accountability in reporting. Someone has to step forward or it shouldn’t be printed.

The lawyer Bennett’s client (if she really exists) has now refused to come forward. But she is not going away. She will continue to accuse Cain “through” Bennett.

Journalism is officially dead. And if Cain’s opponents don’t step up right now and say this kind of surreal bull$hit is *unacceptable*, then the Republic is dead too.

This sounds ridiculous. Years ago when I was 19 years old, I worked as a waitress for Nickerson Farms. One day an unremarkable gentleman came in sat down at the counter and ordered pie and coffee. When finished with the pie he smoked a cigarette.

Like any decent waitress, I kept his coffee cup refilled as I went about the afternoon cleanup work. He talked to me off and on, telling me about the chain of restaurants he owned. He asked me to come with him to California and work in one of his restaurants more than once. I politely declined.

I only remember it because he left me a $10.00 tip. I guess some would consider it harassment. I just considered it another day in the life of a waitress. I had certainly experienced worse. Polite snappy comebacks was the way we always dealt with that sort of stuff back then.

I knew a woman who got a $50 bill as a tip from a customer. No small talk, no propositions. She thinks that he meant to leave a $5, but made a mistake, so she kept it in an envelope for him, if he came back. He never did, and she kept the money.

That’s interesting. I worked at several restaurants before I got my college degree, and the $10.00 tip was not the biggest I ever had.

But it was the biggest I ever had for a cup of coffee and pie which was only about a $1.00 tab. LOL.

I’ve mentioned over the years that in 2000 I know the Gore campaign was peddling a smear on GW Bush, which I still don’t repeat the details of out of respect for President Bush.

My point is, the press then refused to run with the story even against a republican, but they are stooping that low now against Cain.

Agreed. If I’m Perry or Romney (sounds like Newt has already voiced his support?), I get in front of a TV camera pronto and condemn these nameless, baseless allegations for what they are - a smear campaign.

Even if afterwards the allegations prove true - or Cain concedes, they still come out ahead for standing up to the smear.

Their silence in this matter is deafening - and more than a little troubling.

D@mn it Pubbies - DO THE RIGHT THING FOR ONCE!!!

Thing that Perry and Romney don’t realize is, if they don’t reject as unacceptable anonymous accusations against Cain now, they won’t have a leg to stand on when they inevitably get pummeled by the same type of accusations next year, should one of them win the GOP nomination.

I’ve worked for many years in different office settings. I can’t tell you how many times a male fellow co-worker has said something that made me feel uncomfortable. Most of the time they didn’t mean anything by it and I just went on with my day. Didn’t give it a second thought.

Reminds me of the time my brother’s woman boss’s secretary, her life long best friend, used to parade around the office in skin tight work out clothes.

She seduced him at the Christmas party, let him play with all the toy on her play ground, then, when he showed no further interest, she got him fired.

That made me uncomfortable.

Jonno, I hope you are right. I like Cain much more than our other choices but I know how the left works and how relentlessly they attack. (i.e. Joe the plumber, Bush Natl Guard service, no WMD, water boarding etc.) What I don’t want is a 3 candidate race.
