Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged “he had taken advantage of me.”
One source, a male, told PJ Media:
Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.
Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:
Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.
The name of the woman — who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident — has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.
Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time — mid-1990s — for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

First, they are not all young girls. This one was. I believe the other went to an Ivy League school, and the rest I don’t know.
Secondly, she is with her lawyer today working on a public legal statement. I would assume it won’t be long.
Finally, my daughter was RAPED when she was 16, and I went through that time with her and she is a beautiful woman now, and DON’T YOU DARE SAY ANOTHER WORD ABOUT MY DAUGHTER YOU IGNORANT WEASEL. She has overcome that, but people like you in this society are horrible people who don’t deserve to have a family, let alone a daughter who could call you “Dad”.
Cain has denied sexual harrassment. That’s all, and I’ve followed this pretty closely.
I’m also fairly disappointed in the campaign manager.
And I’m tired of hearing “only anonymous sources.” Cain has said on TV that he knows at least one of them and even made a point of saying he did not reveal her name. And he did not reveal her name, but he did tell Greta her age range now, height, NRA department she had worked in.
That one, at least, is NOT anonymous. He knows exactly who she is.

I’ve never wrapped my brain around the feminist message that women are just as smart, just as strong (stronger even!)

Who are the 'young ladies?' Where are they? How do you know who or what they are or where?
As of this moment, this is classic character assassination. Typical of what is done to successful Republicans.
I'm surprised that so many are falling for this (regardless of whom you favor in the primaries), without any factual evidence to support it.
I can't tolerate Ron Paul, but I would be equally suspect of any unsubstantiated, anonymous charges made against him.
I hope we conservatives start getting our act together before our candidate is selected and we have to go up against the filth in the White House (who is most likely behind this ridiculous set of accusations).
And he knows EXACTLY what happened. So, again, if Cain has denied wrong doing, then what is your problem with a story filled with “anonymous sources”.

If true...and I do question that....Cain would know better then to take a woman home...get her a room somewhere if that. I think the story is bogus.

At the moment, I am inclined to say if there was one transgression twenty years ago and he and is wife worked it out, then it is no one else's business.
Given the field of candidates, I am willing to overlook one mistake in Cain's personal life.

What do you mean by that? Nobody has come forward. What should he own up to? Where is the evidence? There is not even a named claimant yet.
Most companies have insurance for this sort of thing and most insurance requires that they handle the claim from the outset. The company was not likely involved much.
A way to illuminate the ridiculousness of this nonsense is for every conservative woman in America to call her local radio station and newspaper and state that she was harassed by Herman Cain.
I think I’ve heard this story. Didn’t the Captain end up marrying the Colonel, or am I confusing it with some other story?

So I read the article just now and it says she spent the night there “and woke up.” Period. Nothing about a bed. Has the PJ site deleted the bed?

I had the original PJM article still open when I saw your comment, and it clearly said "woke up in his bed"... and when I refreshed it, "in his bed" was gone. That certainly change things.

If you think about it, she didn’t say anything damaging. It’s just out there for people to draw their own conclusions... Some people will assume the worst and some won’t. You’ll never know the truth because there will be no deviance at this point.
So Cain get’s damaged either way. That’s how it works.
Read the comments on this thread. Most are dismissive of the women...assuming they're sluts..that's what I object to.

Didn’t see that in the article. Just that she woke up. In fact, the mention of a bed is conspicuous in its absence.
Even at face value though it is not to the level some are screaming. There was no sexual harassment in this story. If true, the worst thing Cain did was show lack of judgment in how he took care of a drunk employee. But you are right. I have a feeling there is even less once the truth comes out.
A person who allegedly once cheated on his wife can never sing about grace?
