PJM Sources Report Details of Alleged Cain Incident
PJMedia ^ | November 3, 2011 | Richard Pollock

Posted on 11/03/2011 10:04:50 AM PDT by bbernard

Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged “he had taken advantage of me.”

One source, a male, told PJ Media:

Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.

Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:

Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.

The name of the woman — who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident — has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.

Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time — mid-1990s — for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

It happened in 1990’s.....they need to just leave it there. Stupid to make such a deal of this...regardless of how people might see this as a judgement call. You mix booze and people together you get “stuff”....the wise recognize the “witching hour”...fools rush in otherwise.

I have higher standards.

Well la-dee-da, why don't you run for President and attempt to save the country then? Apparently we need someone who has never done anything wrong.

Look, not one of us is without sin. How well would your entire life stand up under the media microscope?

I'm not saying that cheating on his wife is no big deal. I am saying that there are very few people who don't have something in their past that conservatives would deem unforgivable.

I would STILL rather have Cain than Romney. Or Obama, for that matter.

Makes sense, but I doubt you’ll get any response from other candidates not under the gun.

In Cain’s case, it’s a big media storyline and he needs it to stop. At this point, the only way I can see to make it stop is to offer reasonable prove it didn’t happen.

There is no evidence of harrassment. There is no evidence of adultery. There is no evidence of any wrongdoing of any nature.

Doesn't matter...there IS a trail of 'pay outs' and in the eyes of many that's sufficient to say there is guilt somewhere....just the way it is.

This has turned upside down. Now we have a Republican candidate with allegations against him. We have supporters of his that say it doesn’t matter if they saw pictures of him with a goat.

But those same people had a problem with Bill Clinton and his pecadillos. Clinton’s sex stuff probably doesn’t matter to them now. They’ve EVOLVED. They’ve PROGRESSED.

Oh...who cares what some low-end, low-skilled, bottom-of-the-totem-pole woman says?

Cain is our GUY!

They’re not as special as he is! They don’t make much! They’re all “chicken” to come out and tell their story!

Yeah. Look what happened to Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp. It worked out great for all of them, didn’t it?

—hush money paid through a settlement —

Seriously? You think that is it?

I’m not buying it. There are far too many bs cases that are just paid off because it’s cheaper. And what I am hearing about the settlement amount fits into that category. ANYTHING under $100k is “quit bothering us” money.

Your analysis is flawed, but then again, I never expected anything else from someone who supports the Marlboro man.

“I had the original PJM article still open when I saw your comment, and it clearly said “woke up in his bed”... and when I refreshed it, “in his bed” was gone. That certainly change things.”

My browser window was closed so I opened it with my history and the page came up with “woke up”.

Did you get a screen print before refreshing it?

Rush did a great job on that, especially considering the story broke while he was on live.

PJ media has edited this story.

The earlier version said witnesses saw them get into a taxi together. Now it says “Cain allegedly took the woman by taxi to his apartment”.

The earlier version said “she woke up in his BED”. The current version says “she wokd up in his APARTMENT”.

I can see these same woman being paid’s all on a role to the finish line of where they all stand to gain money ...lawyers, the gals, the media...all spreading the wealth around. Just shows how greedy and morally bankrupt this country is ...all the way to the top!

Man, I am so sorry you had to see such a thing. Seriously. I don’t know how I could take it if I knew the perp was still alive.

Seems to me that I read somewhere that a person has the right to face their accusers

The media isn't a courtroom

I agree personally (that he can be forgiven if he has reconciled with his wife), but I know politically he will be mocked as a hypocrite by the media and the libs every time he need to take some sort of pro-marriage stance in the campaign. It is a double standard, but as a republican, you need to be totally clean.

Well, if I were a candidate who's been faithful to my spouse, I'd be happy to volunteer the info.

I find it alarming that none of the candidates has done so.

We have millions of people in this country. Can't we find even one who's not a sodding degenerate!?

—Cain has denied sexual harrassment. —

So, the one person who is not anonymous has spoken. I’m anxious to see what others who come forward have to say.

If he starts looking like a victim, even if he is guilty, the minority is going to identify with him

The Race Traitor stuff is just too deeply ingrained. Believe me, as much as I hound people for being blindly optimistic about hopeless candidates, I seriously thought Michael Steele had a chance in the Maryland Senate race.

Did he live there with his wife or have some second residence? Perhaps he wanted to make sure she had somewhere to crash after a night of drinking. “His bed” can mean anything—a spare room, etc. She isn’t claiming he touched her. And she didn’t say he was with her when she woke up.

In that case you take her to a hotel, have the manager take her to her room ALONE and you have a witness the next day. You have no business taking a sweet young thing to you home unless your wife is there.

Another perrywinkle making allegations, and spinning out his a**, did perry send out talking points. These so called people seen nothing and know even less, I am sure the Rush transcript will be posted sooner rather than later.
