What do you mean by "No"? This is the same timeline I "compiled", whatever you think THAT meant.

What we KNOW is what Cain has actually SAID. Why do Cain supporters keep ignoring what Cain has SAID.

This complaint (the $45,000, 1999 complaint) was the one Cain described. Remember, the "hand gesture" that was his wife's height? Assuming we believe the other pieces of information, she apparently waited a while before filing her complaint. Since Cain also said he was aware of this agreement, I don't know why it matters to you that she filed the complaint after he left.

What point are you trying to make? Do you think there is some dispute over whether this complaint actually deals with Cain? Because Cain has already said there was a complaint with Bennett's client -- so that is not in dispute.

It's like everybody wants to just argue about things when there is no argument.

OK, I’ve got one freeper “arguing” with me that the settlement came after he was gone. And I’ve got ANOTHER freeper, you, complaining that saying this is “speculation”.

Do you have an issue with the facts I laid out? What do you think is speculative? Do you doubt Cain’s own statements?

I gave you an exact quote from Cain, and you have yet to explain what it could POSSIBLY mean other than what it clearly says.

I don’t “support” perry, but if you want to keep saying I do, I can’t stop you — I mean, if I can’t get you to acknowledge a direct and clear statement from Cain, I can’t expect any sense from you on anything else either

You are a perfect example of what I mean about some Cain supporters being so deluded that they simply refuse to accept what Cain actually SAYS.

There is no rational dispute that Cain called Perry insensitive. The only people that don’t admit that are a few of the Cain supporters. And I’m finding it increasingly difficult to have a rational conversation with a few of those supporters, because they keep making illogical and nonsensical “arguments” and ignore the facts.

Since this thread only has such people left, I’ll let you have the last word. So make up whatever you want.

here on FR. I don't like the open hostility

I can tell you a website with really vicious hostility: Wikipedia, and it may be biased against conservatives too.

Chuckie, I’ve tried twice now and you still don’t have a clue. How about going back to your original point and get back to us, We’re waiting!

Cain: “Since Governor Perry has been going there for years to hunt, I think that it shows a lack of sensitivity for a long time of not taking that word off of that rock and renaming the place.”

Wow. For a bright guy, you're being kind of dense on this one, Charles. It is YOU who have made non-stop snarky comments about candidates' "supporters" with no substantiation of anything whatsoever. (I repeat.....I haven't made up my mind yet, and am no one's 'supporter.') It is that fault in YOU that I was turning around on YOU to make the point that YOU have been out of line this entire time.

YOU are a perfect example of an unteachable child in school and therefore YOU will get no more attention from someone (ME) seeking to have civil conversations with civil people.

Thanks for the lesson, Charles. I hope at some point in the future you figure out exactly what happened here, and how your own faults have been turned on you, and how you haven't been perceptive enough to figure it out.

Here's to clearer thoughts in the future......

They’re getting desperate. Did he by any chance rape someone and just tell them to “put ice on” her cut lip? Did he drop his drawers and tell a secretary to “kiss it”? If that didn’t matter for the Secretary of State’s lily-white husband, why should it suddenly be an issue for Cain? Is this by any chance racism?/shoe on other foot.

I agree with you, and would be happy to sign on to a Cain/Perry semi-truce. BOTH Perry AND Cain supporters have escalated this to disgusting levels. I recently had
a death in the family, and all this nastiness is robbing me of the distraction of FR. It’s making me sad.

I’m for Cain. I have tried to only attack Perry for those stands which find leftist. I really don’t like the lies Perry supporters tell about Cain. I didn’t get involved in the whole “rock” controversy, because I think it was bogus.
I think that the people constantly calling Cain a liar are
disgusting. I haven’t seen anything that I consider a “LIE” from Cain, nor have I seen that from Perry. I’ve seen many people say things about Perry that were unfair, as well.

I don’t like Perry. At all. I don’t trust him. I think he will absolutely go for amnesty, which is the biggest reason I don’t support him at all. I think I could vote for him if necessary if he absolutely vows not to propose or support ANY kind of “comprehensive immigration reform”. because he doesn’t approach Romney’s sliminess.

I must say the blatant support for illegals by many Perry supporters really appalls me, however.

I’m down to Cain as my first choice, Perry as an extremely distant second. I won’t vote for any of the others for the top slot. I would be ok with Gingrich as VP to Cain.

I'm so pissed at Medved for how he's responded to this mess that after years of listening I am just about ready to turn off his show for good.
