He was more than willing to steal land for that effort, but doesn't want to do the same thing for a partial fence to help defend this nation from invasion. Hmmmm.

I’m saying that Perry is being blamed for illegals when the blame should be on Obama and the Federal Government.

It is not Perry, Texas nor Texan’s job to secure the international border for the entire United States.

Yet, Perry put Texas National Guard, Texas Rangers and Texas TXDOT Officers on the border and spent 400 million Texas Taxpayer’s money to secure it.

I used Cain as an example. It is not Perry’s fault the illegals are overrunning our country any more than it is Cain’s fault.

Perry is not inept at all. He has dealt with Obama for 3 years trying to get him to put more Guard on the border and spend more US Money to secure it which is Obama and the Federal Governments job to do.

Obama sends troops to other countries to protect their borders and runs guns to the cartel on Texas/Mexico border leaving our border control agents in danger and got one agent killed.

Perry knows better than anyone what needs to be done on that border to get the violence under control and secure it.

I got that in a email from Medina.

You do nothing but post lies regarding Perry on these boards.

I checked your posting history and that is all that you do.

Your hatred for Perry is disgusting.

Are you a woman or a man using a female name?

I just got a call from Obama and he wanted me to tell you that you are needed back at the campaign headquarters.

How much money has Cain put to protect the border?

What has Cain done to secure the border?

As a private citizen, he can't go down there with plywood, hammer and nails and do it himself. This current administration would arrest him.

Cain is heartless to the women he sexually harassed and disrespected.

That's calumny.

I have been a Perry opponent since our effort that stopped his Trans Texas Corridor project. Those of us who fought him on that have been working to run him out of politics ever since. A rivalry that predates his presidential aspirations by half a decade.

Too bad he won in 2008 with the support of many groups and out of staters or we’d be rid of him now both on the state and federal level.

"Perry knows better than anyone what needs to be done on that border to get the violence under control and secure it."

No he doesn't because if he did he wouldn't be going around incentivizing illegal immigration through things like offers of in-state tuition.

Arizona and Alabama have gone much further in dealing with the illegal immigration issue.

Oh for gosh sake. Forget about all the serious back and forth and go see the You tube vid this Texas cutie made touting Rick Perry.

If she supports him, it’s all the info I need to do the same.

Very good ad, and he looks totally natural in that setting. I think the good people of Iowa will recognize those values too.

Are you saying that Rick Perry is so inept that he needs someone else to secure the border for him?

Now I understand that some of you have never READ the Constitution, so it's understrandable that you think a governor is supposed to protect the borders. If you are going to post at a site like this you really should at least attempt to read and understand our founding document. It's only about 14 pages long and was written so the average citizen at the time, who were basically uneducated, could understand so there is no reason you shouldn't be able to digest the seperation of powers and the powers delegated to the federal government and to the states.

Again, just negativity and accusations without a source, without substance.

Not a fraud. He’s been re-elected 3 times.

Not a sellout. He’s released his tax forms all along.

Advice: find a candidate, be positive about him or her. Stop the trash and absolute lies.

He has values and proved it by nearly 11 years as Governor.

You mean “instate tuition,”not amnesty. The Governor has been clear about being adamantly against amnesty.

He’s prolife, profamily, pro-Constitution, understands why there are sovereign States and the limited role of the Federal government.

Apparently you are suffering from a failure in reading and comprehension, my response was a dig at her ridiculous argumentation not Perry's border responsibility with regards to Federal law.

Its all about context, and if your inability to understand that basic concept is any indicator, then perhaps you you should refrain from lecturing anyone about the Constitution since your own comprehension skills are suspect.

Maybe, but I think Cain addresses Iowa far more directly with this ad. I'm still looking for a serious candidate, not a beauty contestant.

Karma got you! Talk about someone else’s speech habits, but you left the verb out of your sentence. (It’s happened to me.)
