For the Newt detractors here.... what is it about his 21st Century Contract with America that isn't conservative enough for you? Newt will most likely have a Republican House and Senate, so the Contract will get done. What candidate has a bigger, bolder, and better agenda than Newt's? ....and does that candidate have a track record of rallying the country to back large scale change?

A recent poll shows Newt getting the most support from Tea Partiers of all candidates. That might give Sarah Palin the green light she needs to come out and endorse Newt.

It is a nice collections of slogans. What does it actually mean?

Basically Newt plans to “fix the system” by tinkering around with it.

Newt, like the rest of the career politicians, still does not get it. The system IS the problem. We don’t need to merely debug the system, we need to reboot it.

Ah no he doesn't. He still is in third as far as Tea Party support is concerned http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20125120-503544/herman-cain-tops-mitt-romney-in-latest-cbs-nyt-poll/

I hope Sarah Palin doesn’t endorse any of our candidates.

She has too much to lose and not all that much to gain by giving her endorsement to one candidate who might then go onto disappoint.

I’d much rather she praise the policies and the ones she likes and leave it at that.

When people here evaluate a candidate, regardless of who they support, they have more than one criteria for deciding. The senate, even ones with an R behind their name tend to be more liberal than the house. Being an insider (and considering past performance) what makes you think he wouldn’t “negotiate” changes to his contract?

Sarah thought Newt won an earlier debate. She sang his praises and said he would tear Obama apart

If you want to stop global warming, put Dede Scozzafava on the federal bench and think Freddie Mac is a model organization, then you too should donate to Newt!

Absolutely and she’s right about that.

He would, and I have to ponder whether the arrogant, little Won would even show up for the debates. HAR!

Newt Gingrich would wipe the floor with obama. No contest!

In addition to what MNJohnnie said, Newt thinks he’s far smarter than the Tea Party “masses” and once in office would not hesitate to tell us to STFU when he reaches across the aisle to work with Democrats and RINOs, and essentially stab Conservatives in the back.

Newt is a good man. That said I will not donate to him unless he wins the nomination. He is OLD SCHOOL BELT WAY INSIDER. He was and is part of the problem, and while he has good intentions the road to hell is paved with them. No sorry. We can no longer work within the current system... it needs to be rebuilt and ALL politicians need to become obsolete. Take away their benefits and retirement and make them pay into Social security and the rest of the crap they are exempt from. When Newt proposes that then I’m all for him... until such time I will support Cain.

He lost me when he tried to throw Paul Ryan’s plan under the bus. Ryan’s plan is our best current shot, and if we don’t start it now, the forced cuts will be much harder to swallow.

lol! Dede Scozzafava is an ACORN-friendly, union-pandering, big government, tax-and-spend liberal. Great endorsement, Newt.

You do realize that smear thread the Newt Camp posted about Cain and the Democrats got zotted because it was a complete fabrication right?

Here is the REAL story from NRO on published on Oct 18th. Tells us quite a different story then the Newt Camp's spin.

Now why don't you try to explain this statement by Newt from May 2011?

Here ya go.

"Sarah Palin Says Newt Gingrich...... “”Everybody can learn from Newt Gingrich and the way — his calm, cool, collected manner,” Palin said Tuesday in an interview on Fox News. “He's kind of seen it all before in this political game, if you will.”

The former Alaska governor, who has recently said she will not be running for president herself, that Gingrich, said the former House Speaker, would “clobber Barack Obama in any debate, any forum that had to do with substance.”
