As Occupy-loving media continue to express outrage over protesters getting pepper-sprayed by campus police officers at the University of California at Davis last week, a surprising admission by one of the attendees was uncovered in an interview Democracy Now!'s Amy Goodman did Monday.

One of the pepper-sprayed students told Goodman, "We had encircled them [campus police], and they were trying to leave, and they were trying to clear a path. And so, we sat down, linked arms, and said that if they wanted to clear the path, they would have to go through us" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The police are doing the best they can, because the provacateurs are trying to cause a situation, where a protester dies and they will then have an excuse to go on. Countrywide rampage that would cause as much damage as a strong hurricane.

Anyone who remembers the campus take-overs in the 1960s and was paying attention knows that what the occupy movement is all about it provoking law enforcement until they respond with force. The the Alynskyite organizers will scream “police brutality” and have the naive media reporting about the “peaceful” protestors were “mistreated.”

I said it before and I'll say it again, occuweenies, if your looking for that Kent State moment, BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR! You all are playing with fire. For all your intellectualism, sophistication and education, you're all a bunch of senseless schmucks. All this seems to be a lead up to the conventions, dem as well as repub, where they're going to try to "recreate '68". The long hot summer, knuckleheaded nostalgia at its worst. It's sooo cool, so chic, so avant garde to advocate "cracking eggs to make an omelette", if it comes down to that guess who's gonna wind up with the majority of cracked eggs? While your puppetmasters are safe and sound in their gated communities and ivory towers. Useful idiots indeed, Lenin must be proud. Take it from an ex-liberal like myself,(clean since my junior year in HS) burn your picket signs, drop the "bullsh!t courses" as we called them back in the day, go for useful majors and maybe just maybe you'll make something of yourselves.

Last night on the local (Sacramento) news they pieced together cellphone clips from various angles which did indeed show that the protesters encircled the officers and left them no avenue of escape. Given this little tidbit of info I believe that the cops were restrained in their response.

AS I said at the time, a carefully edited scrap of tape without context hides a multitude of sins. There was obviously more to this story. Surprised Amy Goodman let the cat out of the bag.

The occupiers want a Kent State moment to create momentum.

Yup, it’s called ‘’agit-prop’’. Agitation propaganda. Straight out of the communist playbook. Provoke an incident, in this case with the police, the police respond and it’s ‘’police brutality’’

Not to mention that it also elevated Richard Nixon to the White House.

Yup, actually, my journey into the light it started when I was around 14. One day while staying with my dear grandparents, we were watching a news report about the bombing of the old Gulf and Western bldg. near Columbus Circle,(just about anyone on the NYPD at the time, to this day, has very good reason to beleive that Ayers and Dhorn had a role in this) My grandfather exclaimed, “what’s wrong with these f***ing idiots? They say they want peace and they throw bombs all over the damn place and don’t give a sh!t if they hurt or kill anyone?!” One thing about grandpa, his language was “salty” at times and he and my gramdma had no formal education, but they had more common sense and wisdom than any PhD. As immature as I was at the time something about the whole anti-war/new left/hippy movement didn’t seem right. Also a combination of primarily my beloved parents’ values and an 11th grade history teacher who made Rush Limbaugh look like Michael “two dinners” Moore were also huge influences. One day it all came together and I had a “what the hell was I thinking” moment. Never looked back since.

Yes! What they (protestors) want is water cannons and billy clubs. Then they get a bloodied student on TV shouting 'puleeze brutality'.

At Kent State, the commie leaders urged students to throw concrete chunks at the police, hoping they would over-react.

I am so sick of the media coddling these commie-led fools.

Growing up in the sixites and watching the country as it began it’s march toward what we’ve become was difficult. IMHO, we are where we are today because of the sixties peace, love, sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle. I’m okay you’re okay. As long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else it’s okay. Do it. It’s been downhill ever since.

Try to find the truth in ANY media about the real actions of the mob, it is virtually impossible to come by. The mob chanted “If you don’t let them go, you will have to go through us, linking arms and trapping the officers.

The officer, after making several attempts to convince the mob to disperse pulled put his least injurious tool, Tabasco sauce times 500 or so.

The chancellor should be removed not for what was done, but for not having enough spine to stand strong for the truth of the situation,

Now the mob rules.
