Obama and family take in basketball game, chat with Bill Murray By Alicia M. Cohn - 11/26/11 05:12 PM ET

President Obama and the First Family continued their post-Thanksgiving tradition by attending the Oregon State versus Towson game in Maryland on Saturday afternoon. Michelle Obama's brother Craig Robinson coaches the Oregon State University Beavers and the Obama family has watched his team play around Thanksgiving for the past three years.

Actor and comedian Bill Murray, who was rooting for the opposite team, chatted with the Obama family before the start of the game.

The Oregon State Beavers won 66-44. The players took a photo with Obama, who also chatted with fellow fans during half-time and enjoyed a court-side hot dog, according to White House press pool reports.

Obama played a little basketball himself on Saturday morning, playing a pick-up game with personal assistant Reggie Love.

He noted Saturday's tentative deal to end the NBA lockout and set a date for the long-delayed basketball season on his way out of the game, giving it a thumbs-up and calling it "a good deal."

So did Barry and Bill get a joint of Carl Spackler Bent and a bottle of wine and do the “cannonball” thing?

Imagine the coverage of President Palin frequenting hockey games.

Why hockey? Sarah and Todd were both basketball players.

Our Louie XIV king continues to live the high life while our country and way of life die.

This quota picked sock puppet is beyond belief.

...the Obama family has watched his team play around Thanksgiving for the past three years.

What I got from this sentence is they never went when it was on their dime.

Three year "tradition" that will stop after he is tossed out on his ass next election.

The leader of the free world, yesterday, as the world is aflame with chaos, protests, economic jeopardy and global uncertainty with the whispers of war in our midst.

This was AFTER he'd played another round of golf and some hoops with his buds. His life is just a breeze, isn't it?
