Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving!
Ours was not so much. Mrs p6's youngest brother had been diagnosed with lung cancer. They had to move him into a ICU becuase his heart was stopping. After several days of intensive tests they are planing on operating today.
They think they will have to remove only a lobe of the lung but they won't know until they go in. They have told us to be prepared because there is a chance they will have to remove the entire lung.
He is holding up suprisingly well and so is Mrs p6 but they are very close and I know it is affecting her. It looks like the cancer has NOT spread to his bones as feared but there is some question about his liver.
Asking for your prayers.
On a brighter note our daughter is going to have another baby. Grandchild #5 on the way and our youngest son isn't even married yet. If he gets married I'm sure there will be even MORE grandkids. I'm too old for that, LOL!

Oh no! Yes, definitely sending prayers for your BIL! My son’s future father in law has cancer and is not doing well. Same story - it’s in his lungs. But, it has spread to other places. I hope that they have caught Mrs. p6’s brother’s cancer on time! I keep seeing the ads for the CTCA - Cancer treatment centers of America. I’ve told son’s GF about that.
I’m happy for your daughter and SIL!! God bless her and prayers for an uneventful pregnancy and a healthy, normal baby! We just found out my niece is pregnant with her first child. I can’t wait to be a grandma! Mr sneakers and I are looking forward to it!

P6 sorry to hear of your BIL’s diagnosis, and Sneakers son future FIL as well. Prayers and good thoughts for both men. We have, no matter what the left says, the best healthcare in the world.
We had an eventful Thanksgiving too...a happy bit of news as well. Will update as soon as I am allowed:)
