Palin in the also ran heap? I didn’t realize she even ran, so odd she would be in the also ran trash heap.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh she was running all right. Running in the polls. Declared or Undeclared was of little value. She was definitely viable as she was peaking. And when polling data fell - she announced she was not running.
NOT VOTING....?????
That just makes those Democrat Liberals real happy!!!
I'll vote no matter what...we must get rid of OBAMA, he is destroying what was once a Great Nation...
Sorry to see this happen to Cain, I also like the guy...only Bill Clinton, JFK, Teddy, Weiner and Liberals can screw around...
Nobody is going to win the Electoral College while losing the popular vote by 10 million or even 5 million votes.
Santorum is an intelligent conservative candidate. His problem is that he seems to be trying too hard...sounds crazy, but too many me, me, me, I, I, I comments. Same with Bachmann. Sadly, style is winning over substance.
Moral compass and conservative principles. Why is that too much to ask these days? Why settle for anyone with an R behind their name?
1) What the hell is "Contract on America"? I recall the Contract with America, which brought prosperity to millions of Americans. Clinton attempted to take credit for the economic gains brought about through that contract.
2) What "destroyed" Gingrich was the liberal media's pushing down the throat of Americans the story about Gingrich's divorce and subsequent remarriage. There were also allogations of malfeasance while in office. Nothing was ever proved. Though, with liberals, the charges are always sufficient when a Republican is involved.
3) Photos exist of Reagan with prominant democrats and other loons (R-U-N Paul being one of them). A photo of Newt with Pelousi means what exactly?
4) From what I understand, Newt's position on global climate change is that Conservatives have better ideas on balanced measures to address pollution which do not destroy jobs. I see no problem with this. Pollution is a problem. Clean air and water are good things to have, no?
5) Provide specifics on just how Newt stuck a knife in your back.
For what it is worth, if Cain is hiding a sordid past, which is coming out anyway, then Cain, as your candidate, has stuck a knife in your back much more so than anything Newt's ever done to you. Are you so stuck on Cain that you'd be willing to forgo getting rid of Obozo because Cain is forced to drop out? This election is the GOP's to win or lose. The GOP will win or lose this election based upon what we, the electorate, do in November 2012. If we (meaning people like you) decide to take our toys home in a huff because our candidate didn't finish first, then, Obozo and the liberals will win. If we vote for the candidate who wins the nomination, whether that person is the "perfect" candidate or not (which, by the way, doesn't exist), then Obozo and the liberals will lose. The question is which side are you actually on? Obozo and the liberals?
A Cain volunteer (credible source) posted this on Facebook:
“I was on a conference call at 11:15am this morning with Herman Cain himself, where he explained to us that, once again, the accusations against him are COMPLETELY FALSE. He ALSO explained that he is NOT considering dropping out of the campaign, despite what the media is reporting. The campaign is moving forward as planned. Additionally, he shared that Ginger White WAS a friend of his (and his wife’s) and she was a struggling unemployed single mom who received several eviction notices due to being unable to pay her rent. So being the good man that he is, Mr. Cain helped her out financially as a FRIEND, as he has done for other friends in the past.”
I don’t think Cain entered the race with the thought of being a viable candidate.
If he hadn’t become one, none of these women/accusations would have been bothered with.
He will drop out. You don’t throw that out there unless that’s what you’re going to do.
True. I voted in Virginia, and a photo ID has been required well before 9/11.
>>I imagine if Mrs. Cain requested the records this woman has that this woman might oblige.<<
Not if she is making it all up.
Or being paid to make the allegation.
I worked too long in big business to take any woman at her word on an affair. I’ve seen slimy women do all they could do to destroy men in their fight to get ahead.
I want proof before presuming guilt.
It's a shame to hear this. Cain may have been starting to recover, but now this...
At least Newt is on a roll...
He has a history of representing conservatives MUCH better than Mitt!!!
The bloodthirsty brutal attacks on Newt by the MSM will now rise to a fever-pitch!
(Example methodology for this chart will be on my profile page)
There were three recent national polls not reported by RCP, and as far as I know, not reported here at FR.
The latest one, is as follows, and a chart after that shows all three...
Gingrich 32%, Romney 23%
Poll		Date		Sample		Gingr. 	Romn. 	Cain 	Perry 	Paul 	Bachm. 	Santo. 	Hunts.
YouGov		11/19 - 11/22	312 LRV		31	20	15	5	8	3	3	4
Poll Position	11/22 - 11/22	540 LRV		30.3	21.4	11.3	5.9	4.5	6.2	2.0	2.4
Poll Position	11/27 - 11/27	499 LRV		32.1	23.2	13.6	4.9	5.6	4.1	2.5*est	2.7
LRV in these cases means registered Likely Republican Voters
Sounds like Mrs. Cain has had enough. The Rat libs and their RINO/GOP-E accomplices have figured out that the Achilles' heel for solid Conservative candidates is their families in general, and their spouses in particular. That's how they finally managed to stop Palin, and now it's how they've stopped Cain.
People need to wake up about what is going on, or else we'll never have a quality Conservative candidate for POTUS again.
(And no, Romney, Newt, and Perry aren't Conservative, so don't even go there.)
Perry is my hope also.
Listening to Mark Steyn ... usually love him but he was pretty nasty today about both Newt and Cain.
As far as Mark knows, Perry is apparently not in the race. I guess he’s just too much of a Brit to know there is a Texas and a Texas governor.
He was all about Newt vs. Romney and he was more hateful on Newt than he was on Romney.
"Who put this map together? Virginia has had photo ID required since the 1990’s, well before 9/11, and well before parts of the state were heavily illegal alien occupied. George Allen was governor when it was enacted. The Dems fought it tooth and nail, but you MUST show govt issued photo ID to vote in the Old Dominion, and have for more than 10 years."
Well, it may have been subverted at the precinct level. I have voted repeatedly in Virginia and never been asked for a photo ID.
Please don’t post stuff like that about Perry.
He is not an open borders candidate. You should know better. He’s worked hard within the constraints of the feds to close the border and he has promised to do so within a year of being elected.
Sheriff Joe is no illegal lover and he’s endorsed Perry.
If people don’t reconsider Perry, we will be stuck with Newt or Romney.
You are correct. Even Bachmann, who is one of my favorites, is slipping by attacking Cain. So if not Cain or Bachmann, I have no one else left. I felt better when Gingrich was low in the polls and Cain was leading. Feel unsure of things now with gingrich trying to replace Romney.
I still remember the night that some of us stayed up late or all night with you during your sweet puppy’s last illness.
I worry about my dog, Bubba. He’s not that old- almost 11 but I can’t even think about life without him. He is the sweetest dog - big black lab.
