It’ll never happen, but I have to give SE credit where credit is due.

She’s the first Ivy League pundit who seems to understand that her fellow Ivy Leaguers have worn out their welcome - and this is evidenced in Romney’s low numbers.

The problem for SE’s idea of Mittens bringing Palin on board is that the Ivy crowd that surrounds Romney would stab Palin in the back incessantly and mercilessly.

Palin knows this, because the crowd surrounding Romney is composed of many McCain/Dole retreads.

“Romney-Palin would end up with the same result as McCain-Palin.
Who comes up with this stuff?”

I wasn’t going to comment on this, but I’m sure you nailed it.

I would also like to see what influence Sarah carries these days. I don’t think she can go it alone. She’s not a good match for Romney. Moreover, he’s not a good match for her. What would happen to her future if joining him made no difference at all to his campaign?

We will have a nominee just like we do every 4 years. If Sarah Palin endorses Romney which I cannot imagine she can kiss her career buh bye. There will be palinistas self immolating all over the place. Although she endorsed McCain so who knows? I think she will endorse Newt when its all said and done.

Palin won’t endorse either idiot. She has nothing to gain.

Yes, after the RNC / GOP did nothing to defend her and her family for the last 3 years, if she gave them the metaphorical "up yours" it would suit me just fine.

After what is being done to Herman Cain, I am leaning more and more to writing her in.

After reading the Romney bots were in the McLame Camp and long knifed her at the end of that campaign, no way am I voting for Willard...

A couple of dorky spammers tried to get me kicked off the website last week for defending Gingrich. They appealed directly to Dio & JimRob. I’m assuming this is blowback.

To be clear: I am NOT in any way a “RomneyBot”

I suspect Sarah won’t endorse anyone, but she’s already said that she WILL support the eventual nominee, because she wants Obama GONE!

I can't believe how many times I have to post this on this political web forum, but I guess it bears repeating:

In a two party system, any failure to vote for the least undesirable candidate (this includes write-ins and boycotts), is mathmatically equivalent to a vote for the MOST undesirable candidate. Make your point now if you must, but on Election Day next year, if you are not voting "R," you will have voted for Obama.

I am done voting for the lesser of two evils.

The RNC/GOP Establishment and the Punditry class destroyed, Quayle, Palin and now Cain.

Mitt can win, but he won't do it with my time on the phone, my donations or my vote. And the establishment types I mentioned can refer to NY Fireman Michael Moran and what he had to say to Osama Bin Laden because I feel the same way about them....

Interesting that you would include Quayle there. Have you ever stopped to think that the media tried just as hard (and in most cases used the EXACT same tactics) to destroy Reagan, Gingrich & Bush. They used them against Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Barry Goldwater, and Hubert Humphries, for that matter. I'm not conding the behavior, just wondering why some are able to rise above, and some aren't.

Romney-Palin would end up with the same result as McCain-Palin.

I don't think so. I think there are plenty of people who voted for Obama just because he was the 'cool black guy' who won't do so again. They've seen, and probably many have experienced, in the form of loss of job, or money in a 401K, the havoc Obama has wreaked, and want no more of him. And there may be many blacks who stay home this time, because it won't be as exciting for them as it was the first time around. It only needs a shift of 4% of the vote, to make it a Republican win, no matter who the candidate happens to be.

Cupp obviously has her share for goofy ideas, but if she ever needs someone to be “on her side,” I’m at the front of the line.

Yep. I don’t see any other outcome possible.

Sound about right. You're talking about an athiest who advocates FOR the practice of religion. She's fun to look at though.

Whatever Sarah does will be fine with me except endorsing Romney. And you know what? It will be Gingrich.
