This was very interesting... This is a terrific test. And it shows results in a number of ways. It clearly indicates that the majority of Americans don't have a clue about what's going on in the world. No wonder our politicians take such advantage of us. It's astonishing that so many people got less than half right. These results say that 80% of the (voting) public doesn't have a clue, and that's pretty scary.
There are no tricks here - just a simple test to see if you are current on your information. This is quite good and the results are shocking.
I believe it was Winston Churchill who opinioned that " . . . the biggest argument against democracy is a 5-minute conversation with the average voter . . ."

Pew could add an extra step to each question in order to measure that. That would something like “How sure are you of your answer? 5: certain, 4: very sure, 3: somewhat sure, 2: a little uncertain, 1: not sure at all”
I got them all I only struggled a bit on the last one (the elephant symbol) because my preferred answer of “Stupid Party” wasn’t available.
I got 12 out of 13 only because I accidently clicked the “Egypt” button when I meant to click on the “Isreal” button. Couldn’t have made a STUPIDER mistake! GRRRRRRRRRR!

Yep. 13/13 correct. A lot of feminazis are going to annoyed that men did better than women, but I didn’t see any questions about Hugh Grant on the test.

BTW, just for the harmony of the marriage, I have willingly sat through many Hugh Grant movies with my wife. What we won’t do for love.
Well, I absolutely loved 4 Weddings and a Funeral, liked Notting Hill and Love Actually. I really think that - in the movies at least - Hugh Grant is adorable!

I was sucked in by the arabic looking symbols. Like I said, the Red Cresent isn’t all that rare and can mean many different things.
