Senator DeMint conducted his debate in this format early on.
It's a definite winner.

Santorum has given details about what he would do as President.
Newt gave generalities.

Santorum seems a little spastic. He speaks as if he’s in a great hurry.

Santorum - he’s in his 50’s but his demeanor is like a kid in the 6th grade raising his hand hoping that the teacher calls on him so he can prove he’s really smart, right before he goes home and drinks the Ovaltine his Mom made for him.
Not that there’s anything wrong with Ovaltine.

Newt gave generalities. LOL. We're watching different debates. Newt named 3 departments he would seriously dilute or eliminate and secondly, Newt might very well be POTUS, but Santorum won't.

If Newt has money, why not buy his wife expensive Jewelry? Would you feel better is he bought her stuff from Kay Jewelers?
Or are you forming your own Occupy chapter protesting against those who own more than a dollar?
To: DoughtyOne
I was taping every debate, and it finally dawned on me, who bother? The folks I back will NEVER get the nod. ****sigh*** I know, we have what seems to be an insurmountable situation here.
I admit I vacillate between holding out for hope vs wishing it would all just collapse so we can start rebuilding.
With the latter being such an ugly proposition I tend to hold out for the hope part though.
I guess in the end it is up to the Lord so I'll just continue praying for the best.
Hope you are well DO, been a while since we have chatted.

Actually the Santorums had 8 children. Gabriel died shortly after birth. Rick and his wife were told during her pregnancy this would happen. She wrote letters to the baby during that time, Letters to Gabriel, a very touching book.
Rick’s delivery was not too smooth tonight. Perry looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
