Must have been a different “best photo” list...the one i recall as first was a crowd shot from Russia.

Bah! That didn’t even rate being called a disaster by our president...

The most powerful image in my mind from this year is the destruction to Tuscaloosa, AL, from the April 27 tornado that hit. I was there in August, and though a lot of clean-up had been done, I was shocked at the destruction. It was surreal to see the path of destruction. Much more shocking in person than in photos.

This photograph makes me cry every time, and the video was just as touching. Man’s best friend, indeed.

Bah! That didnt even rate being called a disaster by our president... Because Texas didn't vote for him. Here's the sky in Austin 30 miles west of Bastrop. Smoke and haze went for hundreds of miles. That and other fires could be seen on satellite.

A third or more are nothing but feel-good propaganda for liberal agendas.

How sad to see this collection...
Focus was on War, Nature and Perverts
I like the composition of #33 and the lonliness and massive damage, the juxtaposition of a guy in a suit, Ipod with drought and starvation in #38, #30, #27 and #45 are also great
The rest are ok as the depict events but really ho-hum photogrpahs and I hate the sick perverts being in there.
