Newt Gingrich has at least one name on his list of potential running mates: GOP rival Mitt Romney.
"I think Mitt Romney is a very admirable person, and I'm not going to pick a fight with Mitt Romney," Gingrich said in an interview Wednesday with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.
When asked if he would ever ask Romney to be his vice presidential nominee, Gingrich didn't mince words.
"I think the consensus is that he'd certainly be on the list, whether he'd want to or not," Gingrich said. "He's a very competent person. This is a very serious man. I would certainly support him if he became the Republican nominee."

Otherwise, this would really disqualify him for my vote. Still, I want Santorum and Michelle in the race...just in case.

If Mitt is the nominee, Obama runs against Wall Street.
If Newt is the nominee, Obama runs against Congress.
When Perry is the nominee, Perry will run against Obama's record compared to his during the same time.
Perry will also run against Wall Street and Congress and the President. I think the light bulb is starting to go off in voters minds.

I can’t see anything clearly anymore, Tex, and the reason is because there is very little truth left in this world.
I’m not sure what to make of this at all, but I will say that if Newt is saying that he would seriously consider Romney as a running mate, that tells me his political instintcs are suspect, which I already happen to believe.
If he is playing politics with this, I will offer him this advice.
Mr. Newt, conservatives want a conservative ticket, nothing else. No more sofa sitting for you. If you want the conservative nod, then you damn well better be conservative.

I would never want Ron Paul as President or VP, BUT, he deserves to be listened to about the Economy and The Federal Reserve.

Really? I remember lots of Palin apologists in 2008 crowing about how Palin was going to somehow influence McCain and that we should vote for McCain-Palin as a result.
