I support Israel with the best of them but Gingrich is scooping near the bottom. Soon, very soon, he’s going to demand we move our embassy to Jerusalem.

Yes he is. But I think that 24 years imprisonment is enough and, providing he is stripped of his American citizenship and deported immediately upon release, we should let Israel have him.

I do not condone in any way shape or form what he did, but enough is enough. Nobody died, the secrets he passed to Israel were not that critical, and we have plenty of other fish to fry.

Giving up Pollard would be a low-cost goodwill gesture that an incoming Republican President could make to Israel by way of apology for the four years of hell they have had to put up with during the despotic, Jew-hating Obama regime.

How do you know those secrets didn't ultimately wind up in the hands of the ChiComs?

Because Newt has a lot of Good Ideas and a lot of Bad Ideas and a running mouth that can’t control what comes out. Newt himself predicted that he would win if he was discipline enough....that’s the hard part

Most don’t realize that Pollard WAS, in fact, paid, and that he ALSO spied for freaking *PAKISTAN*.

Oh sure, he was soooome patriot, yup, uh-huh.

Well that seals it —I am NOT voting 4 Gingrich.

Expect more and more of such crap from Newt. He literally cannot help himself from undermining his own message. Yesterday it was the silly "remove Assad" comment, followed by the obligatory (and by this point cliched) 'Bolton will be my SoS" fig leaf to try and smooth things over. Last week it was the kids as janitors stuff. Pointless, off-the-top-of-head noise. That's Newt!

I see the sense in your statement. I think he was a major criminal - but there it is - he has served a major jail sentence.

Slimy Newt will pander to anybody in order to get their vote. The more I see, the less impressed I am. Claiming he was just giving FreddieMac history lessons for the millions they paid him takes the cake.

Pollard is a traitor

Treason is defined in the constitution as waging war against the USA, or aiding and abbetting those who are. Israel and America are not at war.

Pollard is guilty of spying for an ally, and was sentenced to life. Compare that to Jose Padillo, an actual Al Qaeda member, who truly should have been charged with treason, and got 17 years. Of course if he had been a Soviet spy, Pollard would have been exchanged a long time ago. The lesson is if you are going to betray our country, make sure it's for an enemy, not an ally.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Our embassy should have been moved there years ago.
Pollard is a traitor and should have been hanged.

There goes Newt again. Popping off an unnecessary idiotic comment and kicking his own self in the butt. He is incapable of keeping his mouth shut. Any fool thing that flirts in comes out the mouth.
