I love Clark Gable too. Everyone is really great in GWTW, but to me Olivia DeHaviland makes the movie.
She really makes Melanie a believable character, more than she is in the book.

I tried to watch Gone with the Wind a few years back. It was way to corny for me. I was throwing my shoe at the tee vee. LOL

"GWTW....too corny for me".
I'm happy I'm not so veddy sophisticated that I can't periodically enjoy the grandeur of the greatest film ever made.
