For the first time in the presidential primary campaign, Democrats are turning their web video and “rapid response” email attack machine on former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Just hours after the ABC News presidential debate in Iowa Saturday, the Democratic National Committee blasted the GOP front-runner in a 90-second ad, labeling him the “original Tea Partier.”

As of the last Rasmussen poll, 44% of likely voters have a favorable view of the Tea Party. Seems to me it is incredibly stupid to attack a group that large.
And to crown Gingrich “the original” hands him the keys to all these people.
Wait’ll Republicans release their video calling Obama the original Wall Street Occupier.
That makes me more likely to support him! I still have my doubts, but if the DNC doesn't like him, hey, how bad can he be?

I can only assume this is the initial step in some deceitful strategy that will unfold over time. Or, the DNC is so far out of touch they actually think these things are negatives.
I believe most independents or impartial people who see this will say, "Yeah, makes sense to me." Because they picked quotes that make empirical real world sense, and most people live in the real world.
The Democrats have spent a lot of time and money over the last two years destroying the Tea-Party “Brand”.
The Mainstream media pimps the mindless “99%!” bullsh***, while calling anyone associated with the Tea Party archaic, out-of-touch, bigotted, A RACIST, yada, yada.
We have to take control of the narrative, or the narrative is going to eat us ALIVE.

I cannot believe what I am looking at. Newt Gingrich is the perfect example of everything the Tea Party was founded to fight AGAINST — big bank bailouts, insider influence peddling, big centralized Federal government. And now, he’s supposed to be the “Tea Party hero” — and you are all agreeing? God Help Us!
This is a little unsettling as it is BEFORE the primaries.
Perhaps I should wear a tin hat, but could the Demoncrats be using this to support Gingritch knowing that Republicans support the TEA party?? A clever way to influence, perhaps, the primaries and select a candidate they prefer.
