US to leave Mexican border crossing to rangers (proposal to open an unmanned port of entry)
Associated Press ^ | 12/11/2011 | CHRISTOPHER SHERMAN

Posted on 12/11/2011 12:51:59 PM PST by Just4Him

BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, Texas (AP) -- The bloody drug war in Mexico shows no sign of relenting. Neither do calls for tighter border security amid rising fears of spillover violence.

This hardly seems a time the U.S. would be willing to allow people to cross the border legally from Mexico without a customs officer in sight. But in this rugged, remote West Texas terrain where wading across the shallow Rio Grande undetected is all too easy, federal authorities are touting a proposal to open an unmanned port of entry as a security upgrade.

By the spring, kiosks could open up in Big Bend National Park allowing people from the tiny Mexican town of Boquillas del Carmen to scan their identity documents and talk to a customs officer in another location, at least 100 miles away.

The DemocRATS’ internal polls must be looking pretty grim. Gotta get more illegals in here to help out with the vote in November.

1. Gun-smuggling stings with no gun-tracking
2. Money-laundering stings with NO arrests
3. BP murdered on patrol, possibly by FBI informant
4. ICE officer murdered in Mexico
5. Innovative border checkpoints with NO guards

Conclusion: US authorities *ARE* major drug-dealers

There's lots of money in illegal drugs.

Who uses these drugs?

Which groups on the political spectrum are well-known users of illegal drugs?

Which groups on the political spectrum are well-known advocates of legalizing illegal drugs?

I have walked across the border to Boquillas. There is nothing there except a few adobe huts and some burros. The river is very shallow. No bridge. Boquillas is a dusty little nothing town. I am not even sure you can access it from Mexico. It is at the bottom of Buquillas Canyon, on the Mexican side.

"I have walked across the border to Boquillas. There is nothing there except a few adobe huts and some burros."

One of the few places that is actually in the middle of nowhere and quite beautiful and very rugged.

All this border crossing will do is to legitimize the border crossing for those who have the credentials to cross the border.

All of those who do not have the credentials will continue to walk across just like you have and I have.

Turn the border over to U.S. Citizen militias and give them a green light. Done.

The Fed Gov is too busy crapping in it’s pants and sitting in it, to be of any use.

This is treason two-fold.

The act in itself of allowing more illegals in when we are already suffering JUST SO OBAMA CAN PAY THEM WITH CIGS AND DOLLARS TO VOTE A STRAIGHT DEM TICKET AND the act that is Obama telling terrorists come on in!

All of the GOP Presidential contenders better speak up on this loud and clear while screaming-TREASON towards Obama!

IMPEACH OBAMA!ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Sending copies of death certificates to the Board of Elections is racist. Keep them voting. Death is merely a disability, and shouldn’t stand in the way, not with all those illegals helping.

“Perry will be screaming about this. This is also another way for terrorists to slide in the USA.”

I doubt any terrorists would choose this border crossing kiosk as they could simply walk across the river 100 meters down stream and there would likely be no one to stop them.

All this kiosk does is provide a place for people to legitimately cross just as they could at any port on entry.

And yet...we’re supposed to “feel” safe? We’re supposed to be at ‘war’ and the borders are wide open. In the meantime, TSA fondles us at the airport while you could smuggle the USS Enterprise across the border—undetected. Sounds like a fraud to me.

Oh terrorists don’t need to bother with our southern border. They fly into our nation with a passport from terrorist states, and speed right through. Our government is so complicit with the movement to take us down.

Can’t speak to other removed posts, but the #8 (or so) removed from above was clearly performed in order to protect that person —I saw it.

The post revealed a family relation of that freeper, and if some bad person knew that info, then that freep MIGHT come into danger (even if unlikely).

Sometimes I’ve seen good innocent stuff removed, but that one case was clearly done to protect that person.

A public comment period runs through Dec. 27 on the estimated $2.3 million project, which has support at the highest levels of government from both countries....the National Park Service is the driver behind the project, which it hopes will help conservation efforts on both sides of the border

Highest levels = Obama/Calderon???? And what the heck are we conserving? IMO that $2.3 million can be reallocated to strategic fencing.

As if we already have secured borders. What a hoot.

Of course, this is all part of the plan.

Go Perry!

500,000 illegals march on Dallas Texas, 2006:

Under Rick Perry as Governor of Texas, and President Bush, from Texas at the Federal level, 500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas, waving foreign flags in their faces, while making demands and threats.

Considering appeasement of the ILLEGAL hordes is high on the list of priorities for both major parties, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. They're in a contest, it seems. to see who can pander the ILLEGAL crowd the most.

I would have manned border crossing situated where legal traffic demands. The rest of the border would be designated as a training range for the US Military for all kinds of training firing. The Mexican government would be billed $1,000 per illegal stupid enough to travel into a training zone and get killed or maimed. Get any crap from Mexican government or drug cartels ... take them out completely.

Step 1: Unmanned border inspection kiosks.

Step 2: Unmanned voting booths along side all these kiosks in time for 2112 election.

Step 3: Obama gets AS MANY votes AS HE NEEDS from that polling location to win Texas and thereby the nation.

Gov. Rick Perry’s meeting at the Austin airport with President Barack Obama on border security lasted a mere 34 seconds, and Perry had to hand a letter on the issue to presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett because Obama declined to personally accept it.

It's crystal clear that the people that are elected to run this country are absolutely dead set on detroying it and creating a marxist bloody revolution.
