Lowe's, which yanked its advertisements from the TLC series after pressure from the Florida Family Association, didn't respond to a request from TheWrap for comment, but did issue an apology of sorts. The company seems to be expressing contrition that pulling ads made people angry, and not necessarily for actually pulling the ads.....
"As you know, the TLC program 'All-American Muslim' has become a lightning rod for people to voice complaints from a variety of perspectives – political, social and otherwise,” Lowe's said in a statement to EW.com. "Following this development, dozens of companies removed their advertising from the program beginning in late November. Lowe’s made the decision to discontinue our advertising on Dec. 5. As we shared yesterday, we have a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, and we’re proud of that longstanding commitment. If we have made anyone question that commitment, we apologize.”

Lowes has nothing to apologize for making a wise business decision.....now if only I cold get my hands on a petition supporting this All-American patriot enterprise !!!

Oddly, there was no “backlash” against “All-American Muslim” itself, at least according to the DNC Media. It therefore remains a complete mystery why all these companies have been discontinuing their ads.
