Well, yep all 14 of the Windows Updates were downloaded yesterday. Computer's working normally.

Not much else is going on. It's raining over parts of Oklahoma. Rain is in the forecast. Also rather chilly as well.

It's partly cloudy and cold on the right coast. Rain's coming tomorrow.

To go to the mall or not to go to the mall, that is the question.

Here is a shopping hint: DO NOT wait until the last minute - it gets worse. Do as much online as possible - assuming they can still get it to you before Christmas eve.

And then do the rest at a store. If you feel up to it you can always go on a Saturday or Sunday as soon as the stores open.

I feel for you. I hate busy, crowded stores.

there is a computer scam going around
claiming to be from Amazon
Subject says "Your Amazon order of Omrom..."
It looks legit but is a scam - so do not open it or any of the links.
A shift + delete (PCs) is suppose to delete it without adding to trash.
For Macs, I'm waiting to hear what do do since shift + delete doesn't work.

We “drylanders” drive amazingly bad in wet weather, huh! Everytime the roads are a tiny bit wet, we have accidents. It’s crazy. People deive like maniacs around here in their huge pickups and SUVs!

I hear you. I drive 65 MPH in the right lane, and there was a city bus that was running well over 65 in the center lane this morning. Several small cars had to be running over 70 on 183 too, and I thought we were going to get hit on Loop 1.

Traffic there where you are is a challenge on a good day, but on wet or icy roads, it’s almost suicidal! It’s bad enough here and we are in the wide open spaces.
