"ANY Republican will have a cake-walk."

You're probably right.

Zero fooled everyone in the first election. Won't happen again.

Yeah, the only other candidate I could remotely consider is Perry. He also is imperfect and I think would have a hard time uniting the base and taking the election national. It’s a shame because he is a good guy.

It is just been two weeks since Newt moved to the top of the pile, and you are saying that he can’t handle the abuse? IAC, it is too soon to opinionize. Let real facts enter in, as the result of January 3 in Iowa. All else is pre-race jousting for position.

Remember when Gingrich was 5% with REPUBLICAN voters? He has room to grow. Obama does not.

"I do intend to vote for Rick Perry.'

What if Perry doesn't win the nomination?

So what you're saying is that Newt is way ahead in the polls because no one will vote for him......

Ooookay.

Huntsman should switch parties and run as a donkey. He would give Obama a run for his money in their primaries.

“I do intend to vote for Rick Perry.”

I like Perry too. Wish he would show a little more energy though.

what is most distressing is that a near majority of Americans would once again vote for the Marxist! Astounding. Of course, I do have relatives who think Obama is the smartest and greatest President ever.

With so many Americans ignorant of tyranny, I do not have much hope that our Republic can once again turn towards Liberty.

Statists at ALL levels of government are on a relentless march towards all out government control -- they will bring evil upon our land. May God give us the wisdom and the strength to defeat the evil that is all around us.

Reagan didn’t pass Carter in the polls until September 1980, two months before the election.

I have always been a Perry supporter.

And just for the record Perry is going to be the nominee.

I know lots of women who will vote for Newt.

Perry is stuck around 10% in the polls.

There is a reason for that.

"We need a strong fighter in this war. There is none stronger in this field than Newt."

Newt is our Churchill right before the battle of Britain. Churchill was a fat historian too and he was just what the UK needed to rally the people against the coming threat.

If Perry were on top of the charts (or Santorum) he’d be subjected to the same kind of attacks as Newt is now. And I can deal with either one of those alternates. What’s a pisser are these attacks by monkeys who won’t identify their favorite orangutang. I bet it’s either Mittie or Paulie!

Are you kidding? Go to a large group of people and look around. Tell me how confident you are saying that?
