Rush was wonderful as expected on Greta last night! So glad I got to watch every minute!

Yesterday I tried to call Rush's show, but although I got a ring twice, couldn't get on. I learned quickly it was due to tech proglems.

I wanted to thank Rush for talking about how Obama has done NOTHING for our military. That is so VERY TRUE! In fact, I wanted to tell Rush about the things Obama has done to HURT our military who serve in Iraq and Afghanistan to protect us from Islamic Terrorists. I wanted to tell Rush about Obama’s Catch & Release policy and the present Rules of Engagement our brave soldiers face.

September 11, 2001, our lives changed forever. At first, our answer was swift and fierce, but now our troops catch the terrorists and release the terrorists! Now we appease the enemy because we don't want to offend them. Now our troops are ordered to get out of their armored car vehicles and do foot patrol so they can win the hearts and minds of our enemy.

Yes, the truth is the Obama Catch & Release policy frees the terrorists and yet brave soldiers like Lt. Michael Behenna sit in Leavenworth for killing a known terrorist!

What is America’s “Catch and Release” policy?

It’s when American and NATO forces capture Taliban members only to watch them walk away free. (This occurred in Iraq as well)

As Sara Carter of the Washington Examiner reported, in the words of one our soldiers:

“It’s as if the Taliban have more rights than us or the people of Afghanistan,” said Specialist Charles Brooks, 26, a U.S. Army medic with 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, in Zabul province. “We have to let these guys go all the time no matter what they do, and then we find them trying to hit us again. But if they think I’ve screwed up once, then they’ll [the military] have no problem throwing me to the wolves,” Brooks said.

Why are terrorists, who have admitted to killing our Soldiers, released while brave Soldiers such as lst Lt Michael Behenna sit in Leavenworth? What message does the US military send when we punish our own Soldiers more harshly than we punish the combatants who have killed and maimed our brave men and women on the frontline?

Concerning Rules of Engagement:

Rep. John Mica of FL sponsored this amendment months ago. It passed the House but it still sits in the Senate Armed Services Committee. The fact that this amendment was even needed is terrible. Our soldiers have to wait to be fired upon before they can act to protect themselves. In other words, our soldiers have no second amendment rights while deployed in designated hostile fire areas!

AMENDMENT DESCRIPTION: Amendment requires that the rules of engagement allow any military service personnel assigned to duty in a designated hostile fire area to have rules of engagement that fully protect their right to proactively defend themselves from hostile actions.

AMENDMENT PURPOSE: An amendment numbered 38 printed in House Report 112-88 to require that the rules of engagement allow any military service personnel assigned to duty in a designated hostile fire area to have rules of engagement that fully protects their right to proactively defend themselves from hostile actions.

On agreeing to the Mica amendment (A018) Agreed to by recorded vote: 260 - 160 (Roll no. 354).

I know most Americans have NO IDEA about the terrible problems our troops face serving under the so called Commander In Chief presently in our White House! We must stand up for our troops, and call our members of Congress and tell them to STAND UP FOR OUR TROOPS and give our soldiers the right to defend themselves in the field, and stop freeing terrorists to fight again! We must also tell them to FREE Michael Behenna and our other soldiers in Leavenworth NOW!
