You’re not actually here to say that Romney is best for the nation, are you?

Saying no to Newt doesn’t give a free pass to endorse Romney, by people who call themselves conservatives.

Just goes to show that the only *organization* the Tea Party movement needs is AT the VOTING BOOTH.

When they start having splinter groups running around claiming to be the ‘real’ Tea Party, that’s when the movement started to decay.

"I guess an endorsement automatically enters one into the Mitt Romney Vice Presidential Sweepstakes."

Where every entry in the drum says "Rubio".

This whole thing is such laughably predictable kabuki...

GOP establishment: Governor Haley, endorsest thou our Most Holy Candidate Mitt Romney, and thou shalt receive the blessings for re-election from our Holy PACs.

Exactly. I explained to my husband how the fix was in for Romney a long time ago. He didn't believe me, but he said if I turned out to be right - he's done with politics, because our opinions don't matter anyway.

As long as the GOP establishment is choosing our candidates for us, why do we bother to pay any attention to politics at all? Isn't there something more productive we could be doing?

If Romney takes the primaries, we're done. We're all going to hunker down and let GOP sort it out.

I voted for her. I still vote for her. However when elected she only got 51% of the vote. I don’t think her support has been very strong.

Told you!

Every GOP woman wants to be married to Mitt Romney

That’s the truth.

If you remember, the Tea Party was doing “something”. The Tea Party left the tracks by allowing themselves to be swallowed into the GOP.

The power of the Tea Party was that they could keep the pressure on all politicians of any party. Backing unproven or risky candidates was a mistake. They all pretended to be Tea Party until they set foot in DC.

If they had stayed away from candidates, they would still be feared by the GOP as well as the democraps.

But I agree with you, The fix is in and it was promised to Romney in 2008 that 2012 would be his if he backed off and supported McLame. McCain was promised the nomination in 2008, it was his turn.

Yep. They got the taste of power and privilege, and forgot about the taxpayers they went there to protect.

Why are all the “great” new governors suffering from sub-Obamalike ratings?

It bothers me a bit about the future of conservatism.

Haley, Walker, and Kasich are all in the 30s.

When she disrespected Gov Sarah Palin on a couple occasions on television, I wrote her off quite some time ago

I endorsed the SC AG over Haley in the GOP primary, partly as a result of her endorsement of Willard. This isn’t particularly smart to make the mistake twice. Then again, the field is just as execrable as 2008.

If Mitt governs in a Republican fashion, I don’t believe so.

It’s not that I want him, but ya gotta consider your options if Newt or Perry don’t get it. But fight for them nevertheless.

While I agree that there was some shenanigans in that NV Senate race...Let’s be honest...Angle, like Christine O’Donnell in DE, is a great conservative, but a horrible candidate.

Why do we seem to have so much trouble finding good conservatives who are also good politicians capable of winning an election, and not suffering from foot-in-mouth disease??
