The headline says it all.

What was the nature of the papers being served?

“Apparently, the papers were a lawsuit filed by Sapere CTA, a firm that has over $95 million locked up at MF Global,” reports Business Insider. “CNBC’s Taushe said there were over 20 other MF Global execs listed on the suit.”

Not a good year for a former Master of the Universe.

This story irks me to no end. Why on earth hasn't Corzines assets been frozen yet? A few years ago, I used to do some rudimentary background research for an investigative team on internet related ponzi schemes. I am not claiming to be an expert on the law but I have seen people suspected of much less have bank accounts and other assets literally frozen overnight by the FBI. This may be one of the worst cases of cronyism and favoritism in US history.

Perhaps Corzine should be feeling glad that he is feeling that kind of tension, instead of the tension of a strong rope. After due process of course.

Amen brother this guy knows where many bodies are buried in the Demcrap party. They are scared he will spill the beans. The sad thing is the Justice Dept is going full out to find the person who leaked the Climate emails. Up is down and down is sideways in today's crazy world.

Am I the only one who can’t get the video to play?

I’d actually like to see the 18th century stocks brought back for some of the white collar criminals. Let them stand in public in the fresh cold air of winter while their victims parade by jeering and occasionally throwing an egg or rotten tomato. Two or three weeks in the stocks and then several years in a regular prison where they have the opportunity to interface intimately with the everyday criminal element. After a few years of hard time they will really understand what it feels like to be screwed. Make some high profile examples and our Wall Street friends might think twice before playing recklessly with the hard earned money of average citizens.

My son used to serve process. He actually loved the job but it didn’t pay well enough. I’ve had to serve papers - once on a dying man in a hospital and his girlfriend had had them move him to a different room so his wife (my client) couldn’t find him. A nurse helped. Not a pretty business but good for anyone who likes high drama.

Corzine is so danged arrogant. That’s what gets to me. An orange jumpsuit in one-size-fits-all awaits soon.

Especially if the subject has bodyguards or criminal connections. Thanks for the part-time college work flashbacks {;^)

He arrogantly leaves through the door with his peeps while the guy delivering the papers was trying to hand them to him.

They smack the papers to the floor and keep moving ahead.

Corzine needs to go to jail where the only thing he will be able to smack is Bubba.
