“How are his listener numbers these days?”
______________________________________

I have heard that he is loosing stations.
There is, as you know, a devoted FR listener base.
Please do not include me as a devote.
He is good at pointing out Obumber’s Marxist ideology, but sucks at most everything else.

Savage makes me sick when he says Obama is probably the “smartest” POTUS in history.
I have no idea what he is smoking, and I could easily do without him, but he comes on just as I wake up in the morning, so I usually tune in via RadioTime.com

I then listen to Rush, which has been automatically
recorded on Dar.FM, another great service for recording radio shows that are on when you are not around.

The government is in the shape it’s in because of congress and the executive branch cannot bring spending and government initiatives under control. The only reason that judiciary is a problem is that congress and the executive branch keep nominating and confirming crappy judges. See a pattern here? If you believe that we should go back to the constitution, start obeying laws, passing laws that are constitutional, and stop trying to undermine the constitution for the flimsiest of reasons, including the cop-out that you are “trying to save it”.

your post sounds like many discussions i’ve been having in public.
Looks like you’re for Newt and don’t know it yet.
Bachman is precious as can be, and I kinda agree with you.
Just don’t think our side, or her for that matter...is ready at this level.
Maybe next time around.
Many are turning to Newt after they do research, and stop listening to the media.
Jim is doing a great job of digging up the facts and posting them for you to see.

Newt is suggesting constitutional remedies, such as the legislature start using their constitutional powers over the judiciary to reign in rogue judges. He also suggests that the Executive branch stop allowing judiciary infringement over duties which are reserved to the Executive branch.

Go to Newt.org to read his white paper on the courts if you want to understand what Newt is really saying. It is 54 pages, so plan to spend some time on it.

Taken in context, Newt is not proposing to be a Dear Leader, he is stating that the Court is not supposed to be a Dear Leader.

If a judge does something that he should be impeached for, I would think that is congress’s job...

No kiddin', squidly. That's what Newt is saying.

I see you still haven't taken Jim's suggestion and read Newt's actual STATED position on this issue have you?

Otherwise, you would have already sheepishly admitted the mistake you made earlier rather than continuing on with this line of posting.

The whole field leaves me cold. I’m placing my efforts in working to strengthen our control in the House and Senate and our race for Governor. No matter who occupies the White House in 2013 will need our constant vigilance.

I'm just afraid that Knewt is all sizzle and no steak. He initiated the 1994 landslide along with two Texans, Tom Delay and Dick Armey, the other congressional leader who is now working with one of the largest Tea Party factions. It wasn't long before Knewt's leadership and administrative abilities just vaporized right around the impeachment of Clinton. (or thereabouts)

I'll bet you've gone all in for polititians before, like almost everybody else and then the SOB broke your heart unmercifily due to either lack of integrity, or just plain old short-comings you never expected to see. It's a humiliating experience like conservatives in eastern and central CA suffered under the Turdminator!!!

It's serious business, this selecting who to support and the "court of public opinion" is occasionally right but mostly wrong and we must base our judgements on firmly anchored concepts and precepts based on freedom and liberty guided by constitutional principles.

I remember all the bitter comments I saw on FR about the 2008 election cycle being nothing but another American Idol "reality show" that wasn't very real until it was too late because the media refused to do it's constitutionally authorized job!!!

“I’ve been voting since Goldwater and that is hands down the most ridiculous comment I’ve heard a candidate make.”

So with what ears did you “hear” this with, because he didnt say that at all.

“It’s a twisted reactionary headline and nowhere close to the truth.”

The media will continue distorting the conservative message until we learn to stand together to fight them. We can expose the national media the same way the journalista group was exposed by identifying all of the extreme left wing participants. When you put faces on them and tie them to their leftist socialist ideology they no longer appear so authoritarian to the average citizen.

We can start by addressing their individual names and not addressing them as “the media”.

NOOt will sell us out in the back rooms.. like sneaky Pete.. but at least he will not be proud of it..

I’ll go with nOOt, then when someone shoots him for treason he will know why..
Myth will think he is being persecuted.. by conservatives.. The boy is delusional..

I’m warming to Ron Paul.. NOW there would be a change in Washington D.C.. Hopefully Congress would/could ride herd on him.. A Ron Paul Presidency would definitely change things.. and scare the hell of almost everybody..

I believe thats what “WE” all need.. A meat ax taken to the federal government..

I’m glad I live in Kentucky, since the race will probably be decided by the time we have our primary.

I still can’t get over Newt sharing a couch with Nancy Pelosi spouting off about global warming. Throw in the mix his comments about Paul Ryan’s right-wing social engineering, praise for FDR as the greatest president of the 20th century, not to mention all his personal baggage.

I’ll grant you that Mitt governed like a social liberal and fiscal moderate in the most liberal state in the country, because that’s what the people there wanted. I’d like to think things would be different at the national level. But Newt lives in Georgia and has still screwed up royally without the pressure of a Massachusetts electorate. What’s his excuse?

Bottom line is Newt and Mitt both are bad choices, but unless something unexpected happens, that’s who we’re stuck with. If my vote mattered, I’d vote for who I thought had the best chance of beating Obama. Jim Demint or Paul Ryan could have walked away with this nomination. Even Tim Palenty may have had a shot if he had stayed in. Such a shame these two are who we’re left with.

Which conservative Republican candidate is deliberately "undermining the constitution." beside Mr. Romney?

If you think it's Newt, I cannot agree with you just because he's willing to think outside the box of conventional wisdom, or the evolution of the onerous domination we see today by the judicial branch.

Earl Warren, of the infamous "Warren Court" during the Eisenhour administration started all this crappola about the superiority of the Supreme Court (and all the federal courts by extension) to all other branches of government!

What I find shocking as a voter is the sheepishness of most polititians and actually, even the people, which is why I held such high hopes for the Tea Party movement. I've seen people digging into their government like never before and I applaud politicians who do it even more!!!

I think everybody ought to hold off on deciding until at least 3 or 4 primary elections are held unless the live in an early primary state. It's never over till it over even though some on FR think they hear the gravitationally challenged member of the femine gender starting her vocalization exercises!!!

Why did good people like Sarah Palin and Jim DeMint NOT run? I’m not “keen” about this GOP field either.

I think Savage is actually very intelligent. His Achilles heel is his ego, and anyone that might be thought of as another person with intelligence is a threat to him. Plus, there is no down side to his position. He tries to cast himself as an outsider, so being able to say that he didn’t like Newt from the start is valuable to him. He takes the whole “make the host look good” thing waaaay too far.

Well, Sarah Palin and her family were being destroyed personally by the left and I’m sure Rove & Co would have done the same and even worse to her that they are doing to Newt. Don’t know about DeMint. Guess he just wasn’t interested.
