Sears is going to shut down between 100-120 Sears and Kmart store because of poor Christmas sales.... WLS reporting.

Wow! Not really unexpected though. Wonder if they will be those little strip mall stores. The Kmart near us will probably go. It was almost empty when we shopped there the week before Christmas.
Yup! When I heard it was a repeat on the way home this morning I was disappointed, but after listening I was glad I didn’t turn it off!
BTW, when I was wrapping up work this morning two Greentree LEOs in two cruisers were walking around the building across the street from our studios looking at loading docks and in dumpsters! They were there from a little after 5 am to around 6 am.
I missed this one ... Being ugly has never kept me from getting acting jobs ... being a Conservative Republican, however, ...
I KNEW something was coming with with weather. My knees have been aching - off and on - all weekend! I’ve been hobbling around like an old woman!
We got ourselves a gadget for Christmas; has a four cup coffeemaker, a griddle on top and a toaster oven below. Makes good coffee! (I would have taken it back if it didn’t!)
We got an additional 20% off plus free shipping! Couldn’t pass it up! It will be great for camping!
Sneak, u got a link for that gadget....my feline instinct is tickin hard.....sounds like a neat ‘counter clutter’ gadget.

Got my Mom a new coffee maker these - she loves it.....a Black & Decker of all things.

Not as hot as Micky D’s, but hot enough. I put a ton of half n’ half in mine so it doesn’t stay hot for long! lol! I followed the directions and ran water through it three times before using it. I was afraid it would have the plastic-y taste that some new appliances have, but it did not. We’re very happy with it! Of course, we haven’t used the griddle or oven yet. This weekend, we’ll try it.
I got my Father in Law and Mr S each a “Le Pan” tablet pc. They love it! Less than half the price of an ipad! Still trying to figure out the Android OS.
Mr S built me a computer desk, and he put together a ‘girl cave’ for me! Last three weeks, he was either in the basement sawing, pounding and sanding, or he was upstairs pounding nails, etc. He let me in on Christmas morning - complete with bow on the door! Wow! It looks like a hotel room. Computer desk, daybed (for company), new 19” tv, chair and reading lamp, coffee table, nice curtains and new blinds! I love it! Now I have a place to go and watch my ‘chick fliks’ and put my computer so I can pay bills and get all my junk out of the dining room! He also got me gardening stuff - found seeds at Agway, gardening gloves and a cold frame so I can start my plants early!
