TRUMP SUPPORTERS FILE PAPERS PAVING WAY FOR 3RD-PARTY CANDIDACY IN TX (Payback for Soros bailout?)
The Blaze ^ | 1/1/12 | Jonathon M. Seidl

Posted on 01/02/2012 2:46:53 PM PST by jimbo123

Donald Trump supporters have met an official ballot deadline in Texas, paving the way for the business mogul to become a third-party candidate there, a source close to Trump tells The Blaze. Trump himself acknowledged the filing in a statement.

According to an email sent by the source to The Blaze on Sunday night, Trump supporters filed paperwork on Friday to create the “Make America Great Again Party,” giving Trump the opportunity — should he take advantage of it — to be on the primary ballot.

Looks like it's payback time for George Soros for his bailout of Donald Trump and the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago.

this is probably donald’s intention to begin with - helping zer0. The way he dropped the birth thing like an anvil after the “long form” appeared, that was his part of the Soros/zer0 segway to its release. Guy is a tool.

Donald...You’ll be helping Obama.

That's why George Soros ordered him to run. Trump had to beg Soros for the bailout. Now it's time for Trump to pay the piper.

Trump would have been forced to file personal bankruptcy without the Soros bailout in Chicago.

I like Trump. I like what he says. But any notion that I’d support him or any other candidate as an independent is laughable. And that list included Sarah Palin. Heck, if the brought Ronald Reagan back from the grave I would no support him.

I’m not convinced Trump really wants to run, but he definitely wants to be the kingmaker, and the threat of a 3rd party run puts him in precisely that position.

Mittens has got to be $#!ttin’ himself!

Interesting..

I saw Palin on Fox this afternoon. She spent a lot of time praising The Donald.

To be fair..she praised all of them, except for Bachmann. She suggested she should drop out now..it wasn’t her time.

Big names back Trump tower

Excerpt:

Soros, Deutsche Bank said to be in on 90-story building
October 28, 2004|By Thomas A. Corfman, Tribune staff reporter.

Donald Trump has lined up three New York hedge funds, including money from billionaire George Soros, to invest $160 million in his Chicago skyscraper, a key piece in perhaps the largest construction financing in the city’s history, according to real estate sources and public documents.

Despite reports about the project’s record-breaking sales, most of them from Trump himself, many Chicago real estate developers and lenders have expressed doubts about whether the 90-story tower would ever be built.

Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

(Sorry.....couldn’t resist)

Trump has no chance of winning. He could potentially however usher in the second Obama administration.

How do you know that? Why would he not have bankrupted that particular venture as he has done with other ventures?

Trump personally guaranteed the construction loan and would have been forced to file for personal bankruptcy if it hadn’t been for Soros’ bailout.

Trump PERSONALLY GUARANTEED the construction loan for the Chicago deal unlike the rest of deals he has done in the past.

How do you know he personally guaranteed the loan? Is the contract public record? And even if that is true, how can you know that amount he would have had to pay exceeds his assests? That certainly is not public record and does not seem likely, frankly.

The solution is to ensure Trump fails.

Try and get as many conservatives as possible to get behind a specific candidate.

Like Newt.

The $40 million personal guarantee and his liquidity situation became public when Trump was sued for default by Deutsche Bank in Nov 2008.

To be personally bankupt his liabilities would have to exceed his assets. That, after all, is the definition. $40 million would not seem to exceed his assets, which include a heavy revenue stream that is constant as well as equity in a very large number of valuable pieces of commercial real estate. Where can you show that in the law suit that you mention there is proof of what you say? I doubt if you have any such specific knowledge, frankly. I believe that you are blowing smoke and I very much doubt if you can back up what you say.

This is the Triangulation strategy the Dems use everywhere to castrate their competition. It’s time to get back at them and have Jim Hoffa Jr run as an Independent to take the commie vote away from the Dems.

As I surmised, your representations are completely without support. The memorandum in support of the motion for summary judgment does not reveal anything whatsoever about Trump's liquidity. It does not purport in any way to state, and certainly offers no assertion that his assets would be exceeded by his debt should he pay the $40,000,000 in question. In fact the memorandum points out that he is on record as saying that he is worth billions, so that paying $40,000,000 would be no problem whatsoever. Moreover, in the article linked on one of the posts, he is quoted as saying to a reporter, regarding the entire loan, not just the $40,000,000: "But for me, it's not a lot of money, you understand." Further, earlier in the same article it is revealed that just a few weeks before he had bought out his joint venture partner, in the Chicago project, which clearly would have been more than the $40,000,000. I have suited myself, as you say, and examined your "proof." It does not provide a shred of evidence to support what you say. You either are ignorant of what bankruptcy is or are badly misrepresenting matters. BTW, you should be aware that there are innumerable cases holding that what you have said is per se defamatory. You should be more careful.

Of course the DB filing is going to highlight the quotes in the media that says that Trump has the money to pay the $40 million. Read the Trump filings and then get back to me.

What Trump filings? There are no “Trump filings” that reveal what you assert is true. You continue to blow smoke. The only way his personal worth would be revealed so that the public might see it would be if he actually did file for bankrutpcty. So far you have been unable to produce a thread of support for your misrepresentations. If there is such proof then show us. Otherwise, I repeat, you are either ignorant or blowing smoke. Which is it? By the way, inability to pay is not a defense that any lawyer would raise in such litigation.
