Liberal talk show host Alan Colmes sunk to new a new low when he said on Fox News that former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum took his deceased baby home to 'play with it.'
Noting that the GOP has "speed-dated" every other candidate, Colmes said voters should "get a load" of what he called the "crazy things" Santorum has said and done.
"Like taking his two-hour old baby who died right after childbirth home and played with it for a couple hours so his other children would know it was real, I mean..."
At this point, Fox News contributor Rich Lowry tore into Colmes, calling his statement a "cheap shot."
Lowry lambasted Colmes for "mocking" the death of Santorum's child and said it was beneath the liberal talker, sometimes known as "Skeletor" among some conservatives

I agree, I always thought that Hannity & Cutiepie would have been a much better show if Cutiepie hadnt been on it.
Funerals in one’s home not that long ago was the norm. Up until the 1940’s it was common.
My mother has told me stories of her grandparent’s funeral in her parents’ home when she was a child and her mother making her kiss her grandfather goodbye.
These were traditions brought over from the old country.
Only rising standards of living made the funeral home possible and drove out old traditions. Undertakers used to come to your home and embalm and prepare the body for burial in your home.
Death was once much more familiar to people than it is today.
This is a personal family matter and does not belong in politics. Colmes is a POS.
This is great, Colmes is going to drive more independents away from the RAT party at no cost to us.

It was a lot worse than a cheap shot and when Lowry called him on it he repeated the “playing” meme once or twice more. Colmes is scum.

Actually, it’s the “Crypt Keeper”.
Santorum was on either O'R or Hannity tonight and fully explained how they took the baby home to show the other children and make their little sibling real and to grieve together to bring closure and make it a part of the family. He got a little choked up, but held it together. Losing a child is a tragic event, but the libs and their baby killing policies have drained away the joy of the precious blessings of infants.
This is an incident that TRULY shows the bankrupt morals and integrity of the Democrat party.
They have to be stopped!

Dunno. Haven’t had the patience to watch him in action, though I figure he’s sort of like the professional wrestler character that everyone either loves to hate or everyone feels sorry for.
Maybe it is their private business and not a fit topic for public ridicule. Have you ever thought of that? Read my post about President Lincoln, his wife and their dead son? Going to say they’re creeps and sneer at them, also?
Trojan can’t make a prophylactic big enough to cover Colmes.

I emphasized the appropriate statements (below) I guess it has to be told.. Rick Santorum while a senator would dress in military gear and summons military vehicles and weapons on week-ends. He used them against small remote communities throughout the 57 states.
This is testimony before a Senate subcommittee. Rick Santorum "raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, [has] blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside, in addition to the normal ravage of war and the normal and very particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power [of Air Force planes that he ordered to bomb the homes]."
Those cattle mutilations you've heard about over the past few years.. now you know. Rick. That's right.

'Progressive' POS's like Colmes actually pride themselves of being ignorant about things like that. That's how they justify almost all of their worthless partisan bigotry and low life sneering and hypocrisy.
