Ummm. last I was briefed on the UCMJ covering that (couple of years ago).... he's toasty. That's a spin-crash-burn-die kind of thing.

Whoa. If he’s active duty, that could be a problem. My recollection is that its illegal to be in uniform to support a candidate while on active service.

Just because he is in uniform and brave doesn’t necessarily make him smart.

I could not believe what I was seeing. His career is over. Actually, if he’s been in for 10 years and he’s a CPL, his career never really started.

(yes, as a matter of fact, i DID only read the excerpt)
To: JRandomFreeper
My thought too. I was shocked he was in uniform. He is an E-4 so he might get his hand slapped. Plus since it was a Republican Primary he may be forgiven since most of the military is Republican.

If he is Active Army and his “Leaders” have ‘nads he is burnt toast. But he may be a “Active Reserve” or Iowa ARNG then we’ll have to wait and see.

The military is like anything else. There are scumbags in the military just like there are scumbags in everyday life. Just because he’s a brave guy doesn’t make him a good person. I’ve known through acquintance a white nationalist type guy who was in the army.

Forgiven? No way. Republicans are the ones who follow the rules, remember? That’s why we’re such schmucks sometimes.
This Corporal will be booted out by the weekend, perhaps court martialed along the way.

That was my recollection as well. One would think that of all people a libertarian would understand -WHY- political endorsements from active duty military personnel is improper.
Not very Founding Father of candidate Paul, is it?

Ron Paul should know better than to take advantage of this guy and use him as a tool to further his neo-nazi agenda.

You know, something as primitive as phrenology would have screened that guy out.

It used to be E-5 by five or you were out.
So reservist or just can't stay out of trouble?
