but AP/NPR reports suddenly nine more precincts not reporting?
What on earth is going on? CNN also has returned all their county counts back to zero. Is this it? Is the fix now coming in?
Yes...The fix is in for Mittens. I pray South Carolina has the good sense to Ignore Iowa,NH, and Gov. Haley and not vote for Romney! (But then again we are the same state that keeps sending Linsey Graham back to Washington..GRRR)
The good news is that the precincts are apparently from Santorum counties, so we can detect any shenanigans.
1 Clinton (Mitt County)
Don’t tell me...a box of ballots was found in an ex-Acorn workers car....
Dont tell me...a box of ballots was found in an ex-Acorn workers car....
Nope.. it was a pickup truck.
There is Rove saying Romney wins by 14 votes. ??? WTH?
Mitt Romney just won by 14 votes (or close to that). As announced on Fox.
That is per Tokyo Rove and his un-named source.
Clinton county still shows 97% in.
Rove can shove it up his a$$. I don’t trust him.
Just announced by Karl Rove on Fox that Romney wins Iowa by 14.
Out spent rick 100 to 1 (or more.. Did I hear it as 1.50 to 125 .00 at one point???) and won by 14 votes...
More proof that money can’t buy your everything.
The fix is in for Mittens. The GOP establishment elite are in those precincts right now “recounting” as they “accidentally” drop hundred dollar bills on the floor. It doesn’t matter, though. It’s too late. America went to bed knowing Rick santorum is for real and has arrived.
Screw you, GOP establishment elite, and screw you too, Mittens.
FNC reporting that Romney will win by 14 votes, per a GOP source.
Can’t help but to wonder if some ‘fix’ wasn’t applied here to put Romney over the top. Given what we’ve heard about data entry errors and the handling of ballots, just about any damn thing could have happened. Almost bad enough to make a Democrat election look clean.
Yup, like Bush in Florida. Mitt Romney sucks!
Santorum will not last too long.
Newt will be back soon.
Just like I predicted. Romney is not allowed to lose.
He “wins” by 14 votes.
What a crock of shyt!
Can you say rigged.
I knew this would happen.
This is a guy who was polling 4% nationally and every one wrote him off. He has the Big Mo now in New Hampshire and people will be giving him a second look.
He’s the only conservative who can beat Romney. No one else can do it.
Official results are at the state GOP: http://www.iowagop.org/
Lee is my county and we’ve had all ours in for hours.
Getting beaten by a guy with a stringshoe budget and 4% in the polls has got to be humiliating!
Mittens no longer looks invincible going into New Hampshire.
But I have seen his presentations on the debates,
and Newt has much more substance, experience and
overall strength to beat 0.
It is a temporary setback, but people will see
a clearer picture of how Newt will handle the economy,
national security and defense.
Not in New Hampshire. Some candidates are even conceding NH to Romney and going straight to South Carolina. Which might be the smart thing for Santorum to do because he’s got no organization in the South. On Friday he was polling at 1% in Florida. He’s got a huge uphill battle.
Are Iowa and New Hampshire winner-take-all delegate states or proportional apportionment states.
I don’t think money will decide this contest and Romney has loads of it.
But Santorum can connect with grassroots voters - its his greatest strength and the polls don’t capture it well.
This race like in Aesop’s Fables, won’t go to the swift.
GOP delegates are winner take all unlike in the Democratic Party where they are proportionately awarded. If Mittens came in first, he takes all of IA’s delegates.
NH and SC are proportional. Florida is winner take all.
No candidate gets anything from Iowa tonight. Their delegates are unbound. Usually they get divided up proportionally based on the final delegate count at the end of the primary season. You may see media outlets divide them up...at this point that’s just an estimate.
“Is the fix now coming in?”
It could be. The Republican elites want Republicans to think Romney is the only one who can beat Obama.
The establishment wants Romney. If every one unites behind Santorum, Romney will be denied the nomination.
Iowa and New Hamphshire are both proportionally allocated delegates. Iowa finally selects its national convention delegates at a State Convention Saturday June 16, 2012. Given the vote count with Romney winning by 8 votes the Iowa delegate break down looks somewhat as follows:
Romney 6 delegates Santorum 6 delegates Paul 6 delegates Gingrich 4 delegates Perry 3 delegates Bachmann 0 delegates Huntsman 0 delegates ====================== Pledged 25 delegates Unpledged 3 delegates ======================= Total 28 Iowa National Convention delegates
Santorum has my support.
“If every one unites behind Santorum, ..”
Count me as a strong Santorum supporter!
Rove is our Axelrod.
Just FYI, Iowa delegates will not be chosen until June. This straw vote does not bind anyone to anything.
I got a feeling around convention time we’ll all be saying “Plus don’t forget those 8 votes Santorum got back in Iowa.”
“If everyone unites..”
As my dad used to say: “If I was a cat I would have had kittens.”
Romney will win the nomination while the religious conservatives, foreign policy conservatives and libertarians pound each other into oblivion. That is the script the establishment has written. Just think of it as the GOP’s bridge to nowhere.
Santorum, Gingrich and Paul will stick around long enough to get Romney the nomination.
(I am the guy who said Obama would be President when most Freepers barely heard of the name and were certain The Wicked Witch would be the nominee...just saying... :-) )
..Send MONEY to Santorum...
...make yourself available to grassroots HELP Santorum....
I plan on being at my grassroots meeting this Thursday....where will you all be?
Thank-goodness I don't!
You may want to factor out the God vote....but I don't!
