lots of men have been married several times. It’s a non-issue to me as are his shopping habits. Newt is an intellectual giant and obviously the
most qualified candidate. The rest of the field seems more qualified for cabinet positions at best. Some of them aren’t even that qualified and if they manage to secure the nomination, I assure you, Obama will make that reality very obvious.

And by resorting to insults you just admitted I’m right but you can’t say it. Don’t need a history lesson I lived the Newt speakership. He didn’t accomplish crap.

“I don't know what Newt is so angry about”. In other words, Mitt doesn't get it, and if he doesn't understand why we are angry about our government, he can't fix it.

It’s too bad. For a while you were the only pro-Newt on this thread able to act like an adult. So much for that.

At this point in time, what are Gingrich’s chances for the GOP nomination REALISTICALLY, not “because I want him to win.”

Aren't you going a little bit overboard on Newty. I mean, yes, he's got baggage. But he's also got a record of rock solid accomplishments.

Who else you got? Santorum? I don't think so. Perry, not going anywhere. Bachmann, the same.

What's left is Romney. Do you pick Romney over Gingrich, warts notwithstanding?

If they can’t keep an oath they can’t keep an oath. And Newt has shown he can’t keep an oath, and really has no accomplishments on his record at all.

I’m voting Santorum, I don’t really like him but he’s not a socialist and not a philanderer, which in this field looks like it will have to due.

Marriage vows include an oath to forsake all others. Somebody who can’t keep that, multiple times, for years at a stretch before finally manning up and getting a divorce, really doesn’t inspire confidence that they’ll preserve protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

And really history of serial philanderers that have gotten to the White House doesn’t do much to breed confidence. Clinton, Kennedy, FDR. Do we really want another one of them?

Santorum has a record as a liar: the empty house he set up as his primary residence. I don’t trust him any further than I can throw him.

You skipped Reagan..

But Do you know your bible? (not bashing, Just would like to know)

King David,(A man after God’s own heart the bible says) committed adultery and then had the husband killed.
He asked forgiveness and God used him.

This has been posted over and over again.

You are free to vote whom you want, of course that is ok.

There are those that would like to carry a banner “Sinner” and follow him around even after he acknowledged his sin and has been forgiven by God.

I will vote for Newt Gingrich.

He has worked and proven he can get things done in the gov.
He has proven he can be a voice and ticks off the media because he speaks the truth.

We NEED him..

God’s in the forgiving business, I’m not, I’m in the voting business. And I’m looking for somebody that won’t suck. And I don’t trust a serial philanderer not to suck, because history shows that mostly they suck. I’m not carrying a banner of “sinner” I’m carrying a banner of “proven liar who’s gone back on his word multiple times and has accomplished exactly NOTHING in his career”. Ie, he sucks.

Newt really proves the problem with oath violators. Which version of Newt will we get. The one that agreed cap and trade is necessary, or the one that said it’s ripe for corruption; the one that appeared in an Al Gore ad, or the one that says that was a mistake. He’s got a long history of being two faced. You can pick recent statements and actions and hope that he’s broken the pattern, but understand your hopes go against his existing track record. He has a track record of saying what he thinks people want to hear, and doing what he feels like.

Like my wife said to a friend of hers that stole a man and then was shocked when he cheated on her: how did you think this was going to end. He has an existing track record. He says he’s changed. So when choosing what to believe out of a guy that has admitted to lying you you have to decide: believe his words, or his deeds. I believe his deeds, and therefore don’t believe a word he says.
