Skip to comments. On MSNBC, Journalist Asks About Bachmann: 'We Will Be Rid of This Woman for Good?'

The loathing for Michele Bachmann flowed on The Ed Show on MSNBC on Wednesday night. Host Ed Schultz insisted Bachmann would make mischief for Mitt Romney: "Some of the things, Jonathan, she`s said on the campaign trail, I just don`t see her in any way, shape or form getting behind Mitt Romney."
Former Newsweek writer Jonathan Alter replied; "It doesn't matter whether she does. You know, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't she not standing for re-election to the House? Is it possible that finally we will be rid of this woman for good?"
Schultz said, "Well, I think -- I think she beat the deadline. I think she`s OK, that she could run for reelection in the House." Alter added, "Maybe that's why she got out." In fact, Bachmann has until June 5 to file for re-election in Minnesota, so that's no reason to drop out in the first week of January. Schultz wondered if she might take on first-term Sen. Amy Klobuchar.

“Some of the things, Jonathan, she`s said on the campaign trail, I just don`t see her in any way, shape or form getting behind Mitt Romney.”
NO REALLY you Moron! You don’t think that a conservative is going to get behind Mr Obama lite?? Who would have thought!
fixed it for ya'.
“Host Ed Schultz insisted Bachmann would make mischief for Mitt Romney”
I liked Mr Ed when the north end of him spoke, usually about Wilbur; this Ed is the southern end.
Two flaming liberal misogynists. You see, it’s OK to hate and ridicule women publicly as long as you are a liberal.
Bachmann could kick both there asses at the same time.
The queers at MSNBC absolutely HATE conservatives, and that translates to those who watch.
The NAZI’s only WISHED they had propaganda this good.
Ya know, I wasn’t for Michele after about a couple of months. But these jack wagons attacking her makes my blood boil.
She does a darn good job in the House.
‘We Will Be Rid of This Woman for Good?’
The answer is no.
I happen to dislike Bachmann, but it’s so revealing to see the libs endlessly bash her.
They loved Hillary, who would be nothing were she “Hillary Rodman.” Say what you will about Bachmann (and I’ve said many critical things), she’s her own woman. I wouldn’t know her husband if I fell over him. She stands on her own two feet, and is judged for her own words and deeds.
Yet the women’s lib crowd LOOOOVES a woman who would have nothing if she weren’t married to Bill Clinton.
Not saying they have to like Bachmann’s politics. I’m saying, their viciousness toward Bachmann is very telling. Not surprising, but telling.
This is why PMSNBC is blocked on my TV. Doesn’t even come up on the channels now as a choice to be considered. Still part of the lineup I’m paying for but their advertisers never appear on my TV
Is that like "the north end of a south bound camel?"
(Not having a TV am not familiar with Ed and Wilbur)
I’d like to be rid of communists for good.
I hope she runs for the Senate.
Not idiots....ANTI-CHRISTIANS!!! They DETEST Christians.
You would still not be familiar with Ed and Wilbur unless you had a TV 50 years or so ago. :-)
I only watch MSNBC when Republicans win elections to see the look on Maddows face.
Can I see a raise of hands at FR of those Freepers who would like to catch Ed in a dark alley for a death panel tune-up? I thought so. 100%
Not only is this Ed the southern end, he’s that end suffering from “the chalupas” as Beck says...
Michelle certainly seemed to really rile a lot of the libs. Which is but one of the reasons I really like her.
Mr. Ed the smart one:
And Ed Schultz:
Bachman is a very possible veep candidate. Another female on the ticket who is a strong conservative as well would be appealing to a lot of people.
