I’ve never see Fox News so apoplectic about someone on our side of the aisle. I’m tempted to send them a package of paper bags to breathe into.

I sent this out to about 200 people this morning. A lot of the FReeper’s here are trashing the only candidate that can beat Romney and Obama. And if this happens I am bookmarking this post. You guys are going to have blood on your hands.

Who in the hell do you think has the troops on the ground to defeat Romney other than Newt? Santorum is broke with little organization in the remaining states, Paul is about to get his teeth kicked in, Perry is done along with Huntsman.

God, get a reality grip here people.

Take a moment and watch this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLweKX3BkNM&feature=youtu.be

After watching this ask yourself who has the moxie to withstand the Obama machine in the general election? We need a Rocky that can take a punch and go 15 rounds and still win. We need someone that understands history so that we do not re-live it. We need someone that believes in what the Founders intended. We need someone that has the balls to say what is not PC. We need someone that understands the equality of the three branches. We as a Country need a leader compared to the election of 1860. This is the most historic election in the history of this country. This next President will have 3-4 Supreme Court appointees. Can one imagine if Obama would get that opportunity? The outcome would be seen beyond a generation. These appointments by Obama would be the long term destruction of our Republic.

Who is running that can meet the above criteria? Who can withstand the upcoming slime from the DNC? No one other than Newt. Newt has the political background and credentials from working directly with Reagan and Kemp in the 80’s along with the Republican Revolution in the 90’s as the speaker of the House. Newt knows where the “bodies” are buried in D.C. and he is not welcome with the RNC and hence why he is being blasted by the establishment.

Romney has been anointed for four years by the establishment and Newt is their biggest road-block. Newt is behind in polling in SC and FL. But why would Romney put out attack ad’s yesterday on Newt? Because he knows IF he can knock him out, Santorum and Paul are a laugher. Romney can’t get more than 25-30% and his strategy is to keep these guys in the hunt long enough that they will all get a split of the pie which will be less than he is polling (25-30%) and he walks away with each state’s primary with his threshold of 25-30% and wins. This is the RNC’s plan along with Mitten’s.

This country is in such a mess and people say Newt has baggage but so does >50% of the population. Tell me, what information does anyone have on our current President? His past life has been erased. He has no baggage. Go figure.

Just like Churchill, Newt is the man for this time and place in history.

God, pray for my children, my babies and my Country during this election. And if Obama is elected……again, this will be an IQ test for anyone that voted for the usurper the first time.

With Newt’s economic plan of slashing capital gains, reducing corporate taxes etc. the stock market is going to explode in 2013. Learn more here: http://www.newt.org/

Have a great weekend and send Newt a greeting with some cash!

Not only could Newt defeat BHO, he could also defeat Romney - IF we’d all get behind him now, before it’s too late. None of the others are up to the monumental job of going head to head with BHO and the media behemoth.

But as long as we stay divided over who’s the “purest”, without regard for who can take down BHO face to face without flinching, we’ll find ourselves stuck with Romney in no time.

I dont have anything personal against Perry.

I DO have a real issue with a candidate that almost immediately bombed out of the gate, had to then partially disappear from the race to “retool” himself to yet continue to bomb. Then to hear boasting from his supporters about his big comeback only to finish poorly in Iowa, where he then vanish from the race for 24 hours (Most of his staff thought he was out) to then announce that he ins’t out but will now stay in!

How can anyone confidently believe that he will be anything but an unstable candidate? Some people running start badly and get better, some start great and end poorly.

Perry, and supporters just keep thinking that we need to keep paying attention to him for no other reason other than “his message” no matter how poorly delivered and clumsily the rest of his candidacy is.

If his supporters are alienated by people pointing this out, imagine how they will feel when Obama/MSM gets at him.

Thank you, but the strongest candidate, with the best executive credentials, is Governor Rick Perry. Credentials aside, he has a great family life, is patriotic, has deep religious conviction, is a former Eagle Scout, and a veteran. He has built successful relationships through the Republican Governors Association. The governor Conservatives were begging to run for president, Bobby Jindal, has endorsed Governor Perry. His skills and experience are sound. I believe Mr Gingrich has struggled to find his place in life, all his life, and there is no proof he won’t stay on that course. That said, he’s a valuable human being and deserves all the respect in the world for his knowledge of Washington and his debating skills. Governor Perry is learning how to debate and will have it mastered by election time. Please support Governor Perry who knows first hand all the dangers we face due to illegal immigration (invasion) and would have our borders under control from a federal level soon after being sworn in to protect and defend. Sheriff Joe Arpaio has endorsed Governor Perry.
I don’t much like the idea of replacing the Environmental Protection Agency with the Environmental Solutions Agency either suggested by Mr Gingrich. It’s so Washington DC.

Great points, well said. Sure, he has faults as they ALL do - but these accomplishments are huge - he’s proven worthy of fighting, and defeating, the giants.

Your post doesn’t make any sense. Ooops, sorry.

How can you imply that Perry would make an unstable candidate when his entire life and political history has been stable and consistent?

And when you are left with two candidates who are just weird in so many ways.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, I will support Newt if it comes to that and Santorum if I have to, but Perry is the one with the right ideas, the right record.

I think Perry felt he’d given his all in Iowa and did have to stop and think about his path.

If you think there’s something wrong with that, okay, but I don’t.

He decided that quitting after one caucus was not fair to him or his supporters and decided to continue.

He never announced he was out.

Obviously the loyalty of Perry’s supporters annoys you, but it’s what we feel.

Who is your candidate?

What if I already called and asked that he endorse Santorum? Or Perry, for that matter. Both of those, in my opinion, come in ahead of Gingrich in reliability.

Romney may well end up saying that Romney care was a mistake, but anybody who thinks he truly believes that is incredibly naive.

Did you even read this part?

“I DO have a real issue with a candidate that almost immediately bombed out of the gate, had to then partially disappear from the race to “retool” himself to yet continue to bomb. Then to hear boasting from his supporters about his big comeback only to finish poorly in Iowa, where he then vanish (His word “reasses”) from the race for 24 hours (Most of his staff thought he was out) to then announce that he ins’t out but will now stay in!”

If you think that what I said is some sort of off the wall nonsense, then you haven’t been paying attention because this is what the consensus of most people on this site is in regards to Perry. Oops, sorry if we all arent smoking the happy Perry grass, but he has not made a good run, period.

I dont care what his record is, almost everyone up there has said the “right” things. It is his run that has been lousy.

All of the loyalty in the world wont hide this.

And btw, I haven’t made a secret of my support of Newt.

You know, you keep referring to how Newt acted in the 90s when referring to the role of government and such. If you were that focused on other candidates, using only a small slice of their time to judge their worth, I am sure there is a slice of Romney’s life you could use to justify a vote for him. Gingrich’s more recent actions, even in the last year, disqualify him for me.

Sorry, I’m all debated out. I have made my choice. I post positive stuff about Newt, I challenge people - but just a little - when I sense they have open minds and hearts, and my words might get them thinking a little in another direction. But I have made my choice. I don’t like Santorum but I do like Perry, also. Alot. And I have actually stood up for Santorum when he was getting maligned about handling his baby’s death. I talk about the 90s because that was the last time Newt was in public office.
