Remington barrels are clapped out in 5 shots

Yea that sounded a bit weird.

I'm responsible for the nickname. It's a Gamo .22 cal air shotgun. (The idea is as weird as a....)

50 is the resident football bat expert around here. I have one but have only put about 20 rounds through it.

He has much more experience than I do.

Why chip a gun for inventory?

Just chip the price tag if you want inventory control.

From looking at the shells I guess that they won’t fit a regular .22 airgun.

No, they’re proprietary. The gun comes with an adapter (chamber insert) that lets you shoot pellets. It does pretty well for a smooth bore.

I imagine the rifling would prevent them from being inserted into the bore.

Even if they fit, you wouldn’t want to use them in a rifled bore.
The Shot column would spin out fast and wide.

Oh BTW Mickeys pistol range is still proudly wearing your sign "Occupy the gun range" on the door to the range. ☺

Having seen the size of #7.5 shot I cant imagine that the #9 would do much good past about 10 yards or so.

I will stick to my trusty Beeman and my old Crosmann 766 for tree rat and gutter eagle control:-)

I have gotten tree rats at about 100’ with the Beeman and .22HP pellets

I use it for varmint control at home. Too many houses around for pellets in most cases. I originally got it to get rid of grackles, which it did just fine.

Somebody dumped a Suburban in the river over Christmas at the range, and now some knuckleheads have been shooting upstream toward the bridge, which is being worked on.

Workers complained that rounds where whizzing by them to the DPD.

DPD says if it happens again they will shut down the range until the bridge repairs are done.

GRRR...
I aint mad at the cops, I’m mad at the idiots.
We may have to tighten up on lessees.

“I don’t blame the ammo, it just wasn’t meant for use on semi autos”

Aguila Supermax works great in my semi autos (Ruger 10/22, Ruger Mark I, etc)...the subsonic may not have enough punch for your semis...

I like it so much that I mostly use it...

Very much so. And if it fails, all you have to do is flip up BUIS and keep shooting.

Hey I just ordered on of these:

I have to be careful of the backstop but usually the tree rats oblige me by being in front of a trunk or large branch.

How far will the “bat” reach out?

I kinda wish the road crew had a quad .50, a burst or two would solve that problem.

It’s always some idiot that has to screw it up for everybody else.
