I would not, even though the law allows it and you are stealing my work< and Lord knows what the fudge the perps intent is when they are in my home.
It’s reasonable to be in fear for your life.
If gotten legally, "stuff" represents that period of time spent, either physically or with one's imagination, working to acquire it.
Someone who steals that "stuff" is killing you, if only negating that portion of your life spent acquiring it, or that future portion of it spent to replace it.
