I’ve got to say, with the country in the deep sh*t it’s in, thanks to “Bath-House Barry”, we need a bomb thrower (Nancy Pelousy called Gingrich this); someone who knows history of the United States, someone who knows how Washington works—I love Santorum, but we need a bomb thrower to take the helm when things will be at their worst in this country;

Very true. Unfortunately, there are those who agree but are pissed that Gingrich is putting Romney's feet to the fire. They want another wishy-washy, reach across the aisle Bob Dole type candidate, instead of a fighter.

After all the incessent "Noot" bashing by the MSM, democrats and FReepers, I'm glad Gingrich finally took the gloves off. Gingrich will take it to Obama:

If you’re talking about after Florida, yes. For now, he’s helping take down Willard with $1.5 million of SC ads bought and paid for to go with Newt’s $5 mil....

I’m glad that Newt is within striking distance of Willard
the liberal but the last time this poll was taken he was
at 31% to Willard’s 19. This was three weeks ago. But overall a good sign for Gingrich. The bad news in the poll
is flake Ron Paul is gaining. He went from 7% to 13%. I still don’t think the old man does much in SC.

I think that Newt can pull it off in the Palmetto State.

Perry is nothing but a spoiler and Willard’s BFF at this point in time.

Take Perry out and Newt leads or ties Willard NOW.

Given Romney’s penchant for proxies and pawns, love the irony that it appears Huntsman is dragging Romney down.

From the article:

"The poll of 726 registered voters was completed Wednesday night and offered the following results:"

The only thing in my mind was and is reposting TitansAFC thread, which was pulled because he put it into breaking news.

"it was posted yesterday" --- Yesterday, as it Tuesday...or yesterday, as in Wednesday?

"no surge except in your own mind."

I'm not claiming a surge; neither did I take the survey/poll.

I reposted TitansAFC pulled thread, which is based on a news article. The article stands or falls on the facts and the accuracy of the survey/poll.

The article says the survey/poll was completed Wednesday night.

Instead of trying to divine my mind, it would help if you backed up your claim with a url citation so we can all see what you saw on Tuesday.

It appears to be the same survey, but much more information in this thread's article:

Poll: Romney has tiny lead over Gingrich in South Carolina

"according to a survey conducted Wednesday night."

"The telephone survey questioned 726 registered voters who said they were likely to vote in the South Carolina GOP primary. "

” I think the reports are real, how else can you explain everyone freaking out. “ <<<

My sentiments exactly! Someone in Washington is in full throated PANIC. WE are not falling in line, Ron Paul gained on Romney, and Newt can SCORE in South Carolina. Let them squirm and choose. Us, or RON PAUL all over them and their guy! If they’re smart, they will choose us.

South Carolina is ALL IN for the Non-Romney’s.

Gingrich is the ONLY one that can put together a real campaign to defeat Obama, other than Romney.

Remember folks. Romney has spent 4 years putting this together. No one else will be able to compete in Florida.

Hey guys. My name’s Ryan. Been coming to FR for insight into conservatives’ thoughts about the candidates. I wasn’t going to post, but I saw the insider advantage poll online, googled “Gingrich Surging”, FR came up in the search and had already posted the poll. I was so pumped I had to create an account just so I could say so. I would agree with most of you guys. I like Perry, for whatever reason I’m not too keen on Santorum, and Gingrich is my guy. I would like to see both of them get behind Gingrich as well. I wonder what any of you guys think about a Tim Scott endorsement, as well as, what Cain’s unconventional endorsement will be. Thanks and glad to be here.

“Santorum is already fading, he’s going nowhere in the South.”

I agree. I think that both Santorum and Perry are too regional in some ways to catch on in the broader context.
