Newsweek Cover Story: 'Why Are Obama's Critics So Dumb?'
Newsbusters ^ | 15 Jan 2012 | Noel Sheppard

Posted on 01/16/2012 6:20:17 AM PST by Rummyfan

The Weekly Standard's Mark Hemingway wrote a few hours ago, "If in recent years it seems as if Newsweek has been descending into self-parody, it's still hard to imagine that this is real."

Indeed.

Is there anything the mainstream media won't do to get Obama reelected?

Makes one yearn for the Clinton Administration.

Back then, the editors of Newsweek had to dress down Eleanor Clift for such [never ending] fawning and sycophantic propaganda.

We are seeing the very core belief of liberalism being proclaimed. Liberals have ALWAYS maintained that the vast majority of Americans are too dumb to make the “right” decisions in their lives and that liberal elites and the government nanny state must do it for them. Obama’s famed comment about those bitter people clinging to their guns and religion was another manifestation of this core belief. Of course anyone who does not espouse the liberal core belief is instantly labeled dumb, ignorant, racist, homophobic, redneck, a religious nut, etc.

Your post is spot on!

This is why they don't want to run against Newt.

Newt Gingrich has a lot of baggage. A lot. But dumb will be very difficult for the left, even with the mainstream media's assistance, to put into his suitcase.

Newt is the one who questions the premises of silly debate questions. Newt is a historian, and the left's ideological foundation is built on revisionist history that he can readily refute.

Another plus----Newt has already been painted as angry and mean-and angry and mean is what this country, given the foul mood it's in, senses that it needs now.

I have a dental appointment this week. Those visits are the only opportunities of proof that Newsweek exists.

If they’re like my dentist, proof that Newsweek existed in 1993.

I have to admit that I didn’t believe this story, so I had to go to the Newsweek web site to see it for myself. And, there it was: http://www.thedailybeast.com/content/newsweek/_jcr_content/c-col/oncover_0/image.img.jpg/1326688145842.jpg

I think this shows how desperate the media are: they don’t think his re-election chances are very good and are dropping all pretensions of being unbiased (the few that still pretend that) and betting the farm on getting zero another term. They must have their king!

‘Why Are Obama’s Critics So Dumb?’

Set the meme, feed the meme, reinforce the meme.....
All who don’t follow the Gay Media-approved narrative could be looking for new jobs. You don’t want to be looking for a new job in THIS economy, do you, Mr. Media Guy?

Crap like this “Headline” is precisely why Newsweak was sold for $1.00 and overpriced at that.

Last time I saw an issue of NewsWeak, it was about 8 pages long and printed on cheap, thin, tissue-like paper. Which made me think it must be good for something.

My opinion of journalism (TV, print, media, etc.) is that it is probably the most disgusting of professions, equaling perhaps those of pedophile perverts, predators....and Congressman/Senators.....the old adage of “first, kill all the lawyers” really needs to be updated.
