AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
This woman is a complete moron.
Can’t hear so can’t comment.
Quit slandering Newt by saying he believes in global warming.
Hehehe...I know. :-D
What I don’t get is where is all the anger for Noot that everyone had for Cain? Noot’s adultery is admitted and on the record...Cain still denies allegations.
If it was an issue for some and prevented them from supporting Cain, shouldn’t it prevent them from supporting Noot?
It’s just saddening so many are willing to change their standards to suit their chosen candidate rather than selecting candidates that meet their standards. ***sigh***
I guess that’s where Paulbots triumph - they don’t have to worry about it since they have no standards.
Also, I’m guessing Rush is in the tank for Romney still since (from the comments on the thread) he appears to be supporting Noot.
Not to be OT, but just maybe there are some topics of more impact than ABC’s Slander of the Day:
Newt may well and truly be a gross SOB, but at least he’s less likely to try and turn anybody’s grandkids into serfs than this [***********]ing bunch of..........
We dont have a whole lot of options here!!!
Yeah, how about Huntsman? He had more momentum then Perry, and got out sooner, was he just being a spoiler?
16% real unemployment.....scream it Rush
this one truth will fire voters to loathe the media if we would just say it hourly, daily
I’m guessing that was his evil clone, then?
To the guy on the radio: Who the heck are you and what have you done with the real Limbaugh??
[ We dont have a whole lot of options here!!! ]
True, our options are as follows:
Romney = RINO
Paul = Good ideas, crazy execution of those ideas and horrible foreign policy
Santorum = Good ideas socially, and economically, just not gettign traction.
Newt = Better than Romney is showing traction, supported dede, but he was able to keep clinton in check during his term as speaker.
Perry = Already Gone.
So if you are going for “Anyone but Romney” for the GOP I would say the order would be:
Newt, Santorum, Paul, then Romney (with a clothespin on nose).
I would rather have Paul than Romney, and that makes me very very sad.
Okay, this is getting scary.....
Not sure I follow your logic?
If you’re asking me why campaigns didn’t end sooner, I can’t answer that. My opinion of Huntsman is only slightly higher than my opinion of Ron Paul and that’s only because I don’t think Huntsman is as dangerous as Paul. I think Perry should have dropped out in Iowa. I’m not advocating Santorum dropping out; I’m merely saying he’s not translating his Iowa win into momentum currently. He is running distantly behind Noot, and tying Paul, who is distantly behind Romney in the polls I’ve seen in South Carolina.
Full disclosure, if I were able to vote for a candidate, I’d vote for Santorum right now; however, I’m not.
full disclosure ?
I do not find where he said that at all. He says he was compelled to ask God for forgiveness and (paraphrase) he believes he was forgiven because he has been so blessed with his children and grandchildren and a good marriage. He has never before felt so blessed.
Also - Just wanted to say, I appreciate that you can see something from a different perspective than I and not be a giant asshat. So little of that going around here any more. :)
Santorum has the momentum....just the Newties and media ‘tards saying he doesn’t.
That reminds me of what Ralph Nader said, equating the people with close ties as the media;
Nader: White House Pressured Democrats Not To Challenge Obama
Last year, Nader said there was an almost 100 percent chance Obama would face a primary challenge.
Nader explained that he had planned to organize a slate of six candidates to primary Obama on a variety of issues. The plan didnt work out though, Nader said, partially blaming those who are working to get Obama reelected.
The minute any name was mentioned ... they made the calls, Nader said of the White Houses efforts. They jumped like a cat.
Nader said its understandable why pressure from the Obama administration would deter liberal candidates.
The retaliation is incredible, Nader said.
For example, he said if former Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) had opted to run against Obama, his future in the Democratic Party would be finished.
Feingold, who considered running for the White House in 2008, has repeatedly said he will not challenge Obama and supports the presidents reelection efforts.
Obamas reelection campaign strongly denied it discouraged potential primary candidates. In response to the campaigns comments, Nader said that it wasnt necessarily an official effort, but certainly came from people with close ties to the White House and Obamas bid for second term.
He is forgiven by God; and that is in reference to his eternal life. Nothing to do with political forgiveness or me, since I’m neither God nor Jesus; nor do I have any desire to be.
It looks like they rearranged the boxes you click on to activate the dittocam. It’s in the second row.
this won't go well but ima have to say it
there sure are some dumb chicks out there
i shudder at the thought of calista as our first lady
The media will not decide my candidate.....bastids. Newt talked about this many times and asked forgiveness from his God. Good enough for me.
Thanks; for whatever reason, yesterday’s show keeps popping up; I just am listening to audio only. :)
Do some research...what do you think he was cozying up with Natzi Pelousy, Al Gwhore, and Jean-Fraud Kerry?
If anyone wants to see’
Republican Party presidential candidates, 2012
That’s a great book.

Axelrod’s fingerprints all over this one.
Cathy Zoi, CEO of Gores Palo Alto-based Alliance for Climate Protection, said the ad reminds people that climate change is not a partisan issue. By bringing together top Republicans and Democrats, we are demonstrating both to the American public and to lawmakers that we can and must overcome partisan differences to solve the climate crisis, she said. (Zachary Coile, Pelosi, Gingrich team up for global warming TV ad, San Francisco Chronicle, blog.sfgate.com, 4/18/2008)
Gingrichs appearance with Pelosi in the 2008 Al Gore ad built on his debate with John Kerry the year before where he essentially agreed with Democrats assumptions about global warming. Gingrich said he accepts there is a general consensus among scientists that Earth has gotten warmer over the last century and that humans have contributed to that problem, conceding that his views might not find favor with some of his fellow conservatives. (Bob Franken, Gingrich vs. Kerry: Shoot-out at the climate change corral, www.cnn.com, 4/10/2007)
Romney echoed Gingrich on the theory of man-made global warming as recently as June 2011: [ ] I believe the world is getting warmer. I cant prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that. I dont know how much our contribution is to that, because I know there have been periods of greater heat and warmth in the past, but I believe that we contribute to that. So I think its important for us to reduce our emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases that may well be significant contributors to the climate change and the global warming that youre seeing. (Mitt Romneys views on climate change have changed, says DNC, PolitiFact.com, 11/28/2011)
Gingrich, despite recent opposition to cap-and-trade, has a record of proposing new regulation on economic activity due to his belief in the theory of man-made global warming. In 1989, Gingrich co-sponsored the Global Warming Prevention Act [ ]. Gingrich also once advocated imposed mandatory limits on carbon dioxide emissions, but has recently become a vocal critic of the cap-and-trade bills. (Huma Khan, Newt Gingrich Had Lucrative Health Industry Ties, ABC News,abcnews.go.com, 11/18/2011)
Romney also now officially opposes a cap-and-trade scheme, but his record as Massachusetts governor includes unprecedented restrictions on carbon emissions. Mr. Romney joined activists outside an aging, coal-fired plant in 2003 to show his commitment to the emissions caps. I will not create jobs or hold jobs that kill people, and that plant, that plant kills people, he said.
On Dec. 7, 2005, the Romney administration unveiled the final orders. These carbon emission limits will provide real and immediate progress in the battle to improve our environment, then-Gov. Romney said in a press release touting Massachusetts as the first and only state to set CO2 emissions limits on power plants. (Jonathan Weisman, Romney Environment Push Is Fresh Target for His Rivals, The Wall Street Journal, online.wsj.com, 10/6/2011)
If you want to get really mad (and sick) read McCain’s opposition research on Romney that just got leaked the last day or so. The GOP elites ought to be run out of the country on a rail for even considering much less ‘annointing’ him as the nominee. It is a crime the equivalent of Obamacare being crammed down America’s throat with tricks and gimmicks by Congress - actually it is almost worse because I think Obama will eviscerate him & we will be subjected to 4 more years of The Destroyer. I don’t see Romney being able to defend himself either intellectually or in his physical demeanor when confronted - he looks weak, like a cornered rat. I am really, really P.O.’d - I pretty much knew this stuff about Romney anyway, but when you see the scope and breadth of it in print, well .... further words fail me
Calista could starch a dragon’s fire
It’s beginning to look like the Iowa caucus was a fraud through and through. It appears that it was an effort to make sure that Romney came out on top, even if it meant that 8 precincts mysteriously couldn’t report their numbers. So my guess is that the 8 precincts showed Santorum out handily in front of Romney.
I’m saying Huntsman got 3rd place in New Hampshire, that alone should have mad it want to tough it out a little longer unless he had other motives, which he should be questioned on every time he shows up somewhere till he gives a valid answer.
would love to see that link but will add that Myth has offered series money to tea party folk and tea party web sites to invent, find or repeat bad things about all but Myth....tea party folk told Myth to #$%^ A @#%*
I’d vote for Newt for the sole purpose of keeping the media (on the top ten list of ‘the enemy from within’) from fragging yet another of our candidates.
that is exactly what happened...media driven
Santorum let slip the momentum cause he is weak displayin the truth
good man, just weak
all part of my thoughts in post # 21
thanks...will peel off now and read it
Rick Perry’s speech - well done.
Wouldn’t it be something if say...July/August...Sarah PAlin jumped in the race?
