AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Yeah, how about Huntsman? He had more momentum then Perry, and got out sooner, was he just being a spoiler?

[ We dont have a whole lot of options here!!! ]

True, our options are as follows:

Romney = RINO

Paul = Good ideas, crazy execution of those ideas and horrible foreign policy

Santorum = Good ideas socially, and economically, just not gettign traction.

Newt = Better than Romney is showing traction, supported dede, but he was able to keep clinton in check during his term as speaker.

Perry = Already Gone.

So if you are going for “Anyone but Romney” for the GOP I would say the order would be:

Newt, Santorum, Paul, then Romney (with a clothespin on nose).

I would rather have Paul than Romney, and that makes me very very sad.

Not sure I follow your logic?

If you’re asking me why campaigns didn’t end sooner, I can’t answer that. My opinion of Huntsman is only slightly higher than my opinion of Ron Paul and that’s only because I don’t think Huntsman is as dangerous as Paul. I think Perry should have dropped out in Iowa. I’m not advocating Santorum dropping out; I’m merely saying he’s not translating his Iowa win into momentum currently. He is running distantly behind Noot, and tying Paul, who is distantly behind Romney in the polls I’ve seen in South Carolina.

Full disclosure, if I were able to vote for a candidate, I’d vote for Santorum right now; however, I’m not.

"Noot said he should be forgiven because he is a grandfather now."

I do not find where he said that at all. He says he was compelled to ask God for forgiveness and (paraphrase) he believes he was forgiven because he has been so blessed with his children and grandchildren and a good marriage. He has never before felt so blessed.

ASKS GOD FOR FORGIVENESS

That reminds me of what Ralph Nader said, equating the people with close ties as the media;

Nader: White House Pressured Democrats Not To Challenge Obama
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2830319/posts

Last year, Nader said there was an almost 100 percent chance Obama would face a primary challenge.

Nader explained that he had planned to organize a slate of six candidates to primary Obama on a variety of issues. The plan didn’t work out though, Nader said, partially blaming those who are working to get Obama reelected.

“The minute any name was mentioned ... they made the calls,” Nader said of the White House’s efforts. “They jumped like a cat.”

Nader said it’s understandable why pressure from the Obama administration would deter liberal candidates.

“The retaliation is incredible,” Nader said.

For example, he said if former Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) had opted to run against Obama, his future in the Democratic Party would be finished.

Feingold, who considered running for the White House in 2008, has repeatedly said he will not challenge Obama and supports the president’s reelection efforts.

Obama’s reelection campaign strongly denied it discouraged potential primary candidates. In response to the campaign’s comments, Nader said that it wasn’t necessarily an official effort, but certainly came from people with close ties to the White House and Obama’s bid for second term.

He is forgiven by God; and that is in reference to his eternal life. Nothing to do with political forgiveness or me, since I’m neither God nor Jesus; nor do I have any desire to be.

Using other people’s wrong doings to justify bad behavior makes me uncomfortable.

Respectfully, in a "normal" war, if ever there was one, I too would instinctively take the high road. However, As Rush has said, this country is indeed at the edge.

The operative word is "Using". The MSM and the JournOlists are Using other people's wrong doings to draw attention to bad behavior.

The MSM and JournOlists are doing this while claiming to be pure as driven snow. After all, stressing certain words and using a feined and shocked facial expression while reading political commentary, is the stock and trade of the LEFT.

I would contend that it's well past the time, to take the gloves off with the LEFT and know that giving the LEFT a simple bloody nose won't stop them.

The media will not decide my candidate.....bastids. Newt talked about this many times and asked forgiveness from his God. Good enough for me.
