ROBERT REDFORD This is perfect. Why didn’t we think of it sooner? This town still has some charm left, not the mess we turned Park City into.

PHYLLIS Forgive me for being observant, but, won’t we just end up doing the same thing to this town?

ROBERT REDFORD Yes. And the town after, and the town after that. Like termites, we will move this film festival from town to town until we have used it up. And then move on, until every quiet mountain town is like Los Angeles.

PHYLLIS Why? Why would we do such a thing?

ROBERT REDFORD Because we have to live in L.A. And if we can’t live in quiet, simple, peaceful mountain towns, then nobody will! Waitwaitwait. Zoom in to a close-up of my face when I do that. Ready? Then NOBODY will! That’s it.

"Robert Redford, whose own education was spotty—ranging from his baseball scholarship at the University of Colorado (from which he subsequently dropped out), to studying art at Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute to attending New York’s American Academy of Dramatic Arts—recently stepped to the head of the class at Yale, addressing students on “The Actor as Political Activist.” The session could just as well have been called “Introduction to Redford.”"

Another poorly educated dumbell from Hollywood speaks his limitted mind

Limousine liberal 0.001% Redford could care less if gas costs $10,000 a gallon.

If you asked this addled fool who/what was more dangerous, Hitler or big oil, it would take him more than a minute to respond, and then you’d have to pin him down to get a direct answer, which you might never get.

Redford must think that Canada is going to just leave the oil in the ground.

Instead it will go to China. They will use it to improve their economy. They won't give a damn about the precious environment of Robert Redford.

Redford, like all enviro-weenies, needs a window implant in his navel so he can see where he is going, cause that's how far his head is up his ass.

The oil will be used.

“...What would happen if on his next trip, Redford’s jet ran out of “big oil?”...”

It would make a BIG HOLE in the ground.

What a fool. Typical global warming watermelon. He would not care at all if people froze to death in “fly over” country. There are too many people on his globe, anyway.

Robert Redford: Obama stood up to Big Oil

C'mon, it's Robert Redford, for cryin' out loud. He has ONE thing on his list of accomplishments - he's a former Hollyweird pretty boy, with the mphasis being on "former".

And, for being a former Hollyweird pretty boy, we think that HIS opinions are more important than our own???

Give me a break!

Yes it would be. Just think of the damage done to the environment by the resulting fires and smoke. The huge carbon footprint impacting the air. Think of endangered species that were killed by this prick’s jet crash. PETA and other animal rights groups would raise all sorts of he!! over that. He better start using a horse to get around. Better for the environment and all. That or start walking every where. We’ll use the oil he’s not using.

What would happen if on his next trip, Redford’s jet ran out of “big oil?”

No problem. His plane is propeller driven, so it uses the wind.

One must be very careful and very selective when choosing to to give credence to anything that comes out of the mouth of a person that made/makes his living pretending to be someone else. There are a few rare exceptions and the most notable one is Ronald Reagan.

Soros is small fry in the super rich of the world. He was called an economic terrorist by the Chinese.
