Also, Newt had very specific initiatives affecting SC like the Port of Charleston whereas Santorum is just pandering “SC can do anything!”

Santorum just quoted a statistic about Iowa because he didn’t have a similar relevant story about SC. Not good
General platitudes... Santorum opens his mouth but doesn’t say anything specific

Newt is doing better but Romney is doing OK. Dick Morris just said Santorum is boring, and he’s correct.

Dick Morris is tweeting that Newt’s “head isnt in it,” and that he made a mistake by “attacking” Marianne.
What the hell is HE watching?????

I kinda thought Rick actually wanted to go further against Rick, hesitated, and thought better of going to far, so he stuck with sputtering about charactor issues. Nevermind that it is the charactor of Marianne the Vicious that is in question in 2011. Newt has overcome his already.

Santorum did a good job there re manufacturing and SC. He doesn’t have to be snappy and sharp. He would still make a great president. Boring can be damn good!

Media keep asking the same questions and expecting different answers.
King keeps asking about ‘what government can do’.
The panel keep responding ‘get out of the way’.
King and the media just don’t get it.

Now Santorum is yelling about manufacturing jobs...
Note to Santorum...manufacturing has changed...it's jobs are high-tech now.
That sweater-vest is emblematic of Santorum's backward world view.
Get manufacturing revved up indeed!

Yes. Santorum and Romney are going to be doing their best acting jobs tonight, trying to fire up the conservatives by imitating Newt. Hopefully people can see through the BS.
Ron Paul is his usual wack-job self. These debates would be SOOOO much better if this idiot would stay home with a hot water bottle and reruns of “Golden Girls.”

I've been a Santorum supporter, but his answers have been terrible tonight. He should have dropped out today and thrown his support to Gingrich.
His answer on help for veterans is a nice thought, but it's a Big Government answer. Go home Rick.

Something his wife did when she was young and single doesnt say a word about santorums character!
It doesn't have anything to do with Santorum's character, but the media will not distinguish between Santorum or his wife. If Santorum was up about 10 or 15 points more, you can bet the media would be making sure that folks knew who Santorum's wife slept with.

Newt got booed?? Not at all. The booing will come soon enough when Ron Paul starts in with his anti-American rhetoric and advocates using the Golden Rule to deal with Islamofacists. Soon-to-be President Gingrich know that the only way to deal with our enemies is to smite them.
