If I were Ed Smart, I would somehow figure out a way to tie Brian David Mitchell to the bumper of their car as they drove away from the church and encourage my new son-in-law to “drive safe, but drive fast!”

That scumbag Mitchell was and remains a waste of oxygen and skin. Ditto for his enabling wife and partner in crime.

Hell is waiting for them with an open, flaming maw.

She seems like a nice young woman. Those comments on the article are really snarky.

Elizabeth is a beautiful reminder of how we bless ourselves through the forgiveness of those who hurt us and by avoiding bitterness. She is a picture of grace who deserves much happiness. I’m sure she will continue to bring joy to others and therefore will receive joy herself.

Beautiful woman. I am glad that she seems to have turned out well. I wonder if she is a conservative? I would imagine that at the very least she is Republican.

My Lord... What a gorgeous woman she’s become. I sure hope she has found, or will find, a happy life. The odds were not in her favor.

Well, she's a Mormon, so she probably likes Mitt Romney. But that's no sin, I guess.

So happy for her, and that she has been able to recover from the horror of her ordeal. Wishing her and her fiance a lifetime of joy together. Kudos to her parents for guiding her through her recovery. Amazing story.

Saw her recently on tv. She’s become involved with helping other young women who’ve had traumatic experiences in their lives. What a way to make lemonade out of lemons. Hope they have a long, wonderful life together and privacy, if they want it, for their special day.

She has a charity that’s devoted to working with children. I bet you could donate or help with that.

I’m thrilled she’s found someone - if anyone deserves to have a good life, it’s her. I wish them all the best!
