Question: can a conservative do more damage to the RINO party from the inside or from the outside, i.e. third party? Paging Machiavelli.

What she is saying is clear. The only way Romney will get the nomination is if he is anointed to it by the Republican leadership, who have already expressed their support for just him.

From time to time I've said that the purpose of the Republican party is to maintain the pretense that there was opposition to the Democrat/Socialist agenda, while accepting payoffs from the socialists for not being all that effective. With respect to the Republican establishment, this is true.

The Establishment benefits from big government, whether it be Republican or Democrat. They get calls from constituents to fix this or that problem the constituent has with this or that government agency. Their importance (and revenue) rests on there continuing to BE problems with big government. The Republican establishment NEEDS the Democrat agenda.

The only solution is to purge the RINOs, and never cease in the mission.

If you want to “punish” the GOP, do it the right way.

If “machine politics” make us miserable, then dismantle the damn machine!!

EVERY member of the House goes up for re-election every two years. That means EVERY spineless GOP coward and RINO, from Boehner on down, needs our support to get their jobs back.

Uh ... no, sorry.

The so-called Republican “establishment” — those same old RINOs who corrupted our fiesty young freshmen last year and force-fed us Mittens Romney — is made up of long-term officeholders. THROW THEM ALL OUT!!

REPEAT — THROW THEM ALL OUT!! Starting with Cryin’ John Boehner!!

Sometimes it is wise, in the heat of battle, to pause for a moment and look down range. The Evil party’s bench is as weak as ours going into 2016, maybe weaker.

“WE are the GOP! WE vote in the primaries! WE control who is our nominee!”

No not really, a few states determine the nominee. 9 times out of 10 I have no say in who the nominee is. By the time the Arizona primary comes the nominee has pretty much been determined.

Blaming the GOP when you don’t get your way is childish. WE are the GOP! WE vote in the primaries! WE control who is our nominee!

Now Erik, get real. Don't be bringing rational logical thought into this. I mean, you are absolutely right of course. But don't you realize it's so much more satisfying for some to sit around and blame Karl Rove and the rest of the guys in his underground bunker for controlling the entire world? Don't you realize that even Rush Limbaugh was launched (before Bain Capital was invented) to one day be a tool of Mitt Romney and the party apparatchiks?

Seriously, no logic and reason is required for a thread like this....

“Same as voting for Obama. fine as long as you realize that and are willing to accept 4 more years of Obama to make a point.

What would that point be exactly again?”

The central point in this issue is:

IF America is to go socialist, do you want it done under a Democrat or a Republican?

If it is to happen, I want it to occur under Obama. That way there will be at least a hope that the Republicans might be seen as the solution to a socialism which the Democrats would ‘own’.

Who is Joyce Kaufman and what is her history? Anyone know?

I think I smell a Ron Paul Liberatarian (Liberal). Many of them voted for Obama, furious Paul lost the nomination. Now they argue - don’t vote for Republicans - and both parties stink, which is like saying - vote for Obama.

you know the best thing about this race? it is flushing out all the RINO’s hidden in our midst!

So, not only will we take down Romney in the end, but we will end the futures of pretenders like Christie as well!

I don’t know if that statement is true or not, but it doesn’t matter. That’s not at all how I arrived at my conclusion. My conclusion is simple logic.

We “punished” the party in 06 and to some degree in 08. Guess what? All those folks we “punished” are still doing just fine. So, how’s that “punishment and change” working out for you?

Oh, and Reagan would call you foolish.

Case closed. Twice.

It is a myth that we punished the party on 06 and 08. We dutifully came out and voted for the guys we were told to vote for. In large numbers.

Ignorant boys wouldn’t know the truth if it bit them in their arse.

I am no party boy. Nor am I some cowering conspiracy theorist who thinks the world is controlled by Karl Rove and the Bain board of directors secretly meeting in Rush LImbaugh’s basement which secretly connects to the Mormon mothership - or whatever cockeyed theory you have about “dutiful voting” and “our bettors” and so on.

Now, if you want to make an adult argument about Iowa and NH and SC having way too much weight and therefore causing you to be somewhat disenfranchised on the Presidential vote- I’ll be right there with you.

But if you stick to the emotional conspiratorial stuff, count me out, you’ll bore me to death.

Kaufman never left her liberal roots. Liberal Jews are some of the most bigoted people I’ve ever met and very arrogantly flaunt their superiority while exhibiting their blind hatred.

I’m not speculating about causes. Just observing the fact of the history.

You elect a democrat the federal government spending and debt grows at double digits. You elect a republican and the federal government spending and debt grows at double digits.

Why are we all excited about the election again?

Oh, good. Another nut case who is going to help give us Obama again—just as the Perotistas gave us Clinton. Will someone help her and the others like her the Fleet’s bottle then help them off the planet to their own little world? Her idea of punishing the Republican party is exactly the strategy that gave us ole Funny Ears. And if that’s what JR means by open rebellion, then, sorry, JR, it’s a bad plan.

One of the first things Col. Allen West did upon election was naming this fruitcake his chief of staff; a terrible decision, which may keep him from re-elction.
