It's 0930 EST and there's nothing in the sidebar that looks like a live thread for the SC primary . . .
What do you think of a GIngrich/Santorum ticket? Represents the South and the North, the intellectual and the working man.
If he does, I’d like to point out, “hey Rick, we’re just as heavily armed here in EASTERN PA as you are out there!”
(maybe more so since Philly is a constant danger over here)

Thanks for the FL closed primary info. I would tend to think then that it won’t so much hurt Newt as if they were open. My thinking is that MOST of the libs on FL’s East Coast aren’t registered as R’s. So I’m happy they can’t vote in the R primary. I absolutely loathe cross-over voters, including the R’s who crossed over to vote for Hillary! in ‘08.
Not sure...Ridge was much more popular in Western PA than Rick S. is.

Eric Erickson a@ Redstate believes Romney backers will be promoting Santorubachmannhuckaby in order to slow Newt down in Florida. If this proves accurate, the RINO wing will use Santorum at least for awhile in Florida against Newt.
I just don’t know if Newt can be knocked out in Florida. The base will catch the wave and be in full REBELLION after seeing the dread and hatred for Newt is now palpable, and that his enemies are proving to be the same as ours.
Santorum is cash poor compared to Mitt and Newt so how much can he do. Iowa was prime time for him because he met people and shook hands everywhere in every county.. Meanwhile only Newt and Mitt have the $$$ to air the radio and TV advertisements
